Pursuant to the Aliens Act section 9 a, paragraph 15 of the basic regulation. lovbekendtgørelse nr. 1044 of 6. August 2007, as amended by Act No. 486 of 17. June 2008 shall be fixed:

§ 1. Residence permit for foreigners article 9 a, paragraph 2, no. 1, shall be communicated on the basis of annex 1 includes scoring system.

(2). A foreigner must receive at least 100 points to get a residence permit for Aliens Act section 9 a, paragraph 2, no. 1.

§ 2. Points are awarded for the alien's education level. There can be given points for one level of education.

(2). There may be given bonus points, if the alien's education direction is within an area covered by the positive list, see. Aliens Act section 9 a, paragraph 2, no. 2. Bonus points for educational direction within an area covered by the positive list will be given when there is associated with specific training requirements to be able to contest a job covered by the positive list.

(3). Bonus points are given to a foreigner who has completed his education at a recognized University after the latest THES-QS World Ranking.

§ 3. Points are awarded for language skills in either Danish, Swedish or Norwegian. Also given points for language skills in either English or German.

(2). Points for proficiency in languages is given on the basis of either cast-off language samples in Danish, English, Norwegian, Swedish and German, located at A2-level or above, see. Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), and which appears on the list, published by the Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE), or according to the annex 2 includes language samples. An indicative list of relevant tests are published on the website www.nyidanmark.dk.

(3). Language skills can also be documented by the fact that the alien presents an employer's Declaration, stating that the alien has been Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, English or German as a working language for at least 1 year, or by proof that the alien on either Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, English or German have completed at least 1 years of study at a higher education ended with the exam. The alien would in such cases be considered as having passed a language test at the level of the study sample.

(4). Given a maximum of 30 points for language skills.

§ 4. Points are awarded for work experience within the past 5 years prior to the filing of the application as a researcher or within sites that are included in the positive list, or other work experience.

§ 5. Points are awarded for higher education ended with the exam in an EU/EEA country or Switzerland or points for legal residence and employment in an EU/EEA country or Switzerland.

(2). Given bonus points for Danish as language skills on the basis of any of the operations in section 3, paragraph 2, referred to tests.

§ 6. Points are awarded for the alien's age after the alien's age at the time of application.

§ 7. The notice shall enter into force on the 1. July 2008.

(2). Executive Order No. 1135 of 1. October 2007 is repealed.

TOEFL internet-based test score: at least 72 points







TOEFL paper-based test score: at least 533 points
