Appendix 8

Plastic tanks for an extraterrestrial position, cf. Section 7 (2). 3, 4 and 5

1)
The polyethylene of the polyethylene of the polyethylene can be approved according to the DS/EN 13341 and must have a weight thickness of 4,5 mm minimum.
2)
In addition to the requirements of the DS/EN 13341 requirements, samples from produced tanks shall be tested for voltage-to-refining, "ESCR (environmental stress disstress)."

Tests must be carried out according to ASTM D1693. This method 'condition B' is used in this context with minor modifications. The test is carried out on test pieces, which are cut by a tank. The test subjects shall contain the interior surface of the mind. A minimum of 10 samples shall be produced using the dimensions of 38 ± 2,5 × 13 ± 0,08 mm and a thickness of between 3,0 and 3,3 mm. The samples are made in parallel to the length of the test and the inner surface of the test and the cart must be carried out with a sharp razor blade, and the length of the trait must be 18.9 to 19,2 mm and have a depth of between 0,50 to 0,65 mm. The test pieces shall be drawn up with a tool 180 ° for the length of the test and the way that the face is exterated in the shaped U. The subjects are kept in a holding which is placed in a test tube filled with fire soils. The reaction tube shall be closed and put in an oven at 50 ± 1 °C.

Accepted requirements : After 1000 hours, all of the test subjects must be without a breach.

3)
The application for component type-approval shall include a guide for the establishment, drawn up in Danish and written in such a way that it is immediately useful for the installation of the installer.

Appendix 9

Guidelines for inspection and state report for steel tanks, cf. § 17, § 28 and § 42, paragraph 1 7

1. VENTING INSPECTION

For extraterrestrial tanks, inspection must be carried out from the outside. This shall include at least the following :

a)
Statements and other damage to the tank's foundation. In the case of statements, an expanded control of welds shall be carried out by trimming, where pipelines connect the environment to the environment, as well as any appropriate support.
b)
Flow conditions for rainwater and possibly. waste.
c)
The idea of buleforming in the tank.
d)
Recording the condition of the exterior maling.
(e)
If an internal inspection does not occur at the same time, an ultrasound type scan shall be carried out of a belt on the lowest point of the tank and a belt at the highest point of the tank.

If the exterior page is not available due to insulation or the like, where any damage to outer caps must be recorded. Where there are signs of water penetration, the appropriate parts of the insulation shall be removed so that its state can be checked and, if necessary, remedied and the state of the tanning condition in connection with the fated isolation can be ascertained. The location of the coal debris from the supports and so on shall be noted in the sketches so that these sites can be relocated inside and inspected carefully.

2. WIPE AND PURIFICATION

The tank must be completely emptied and purify.

In the case of interior coating, complete or in the bottom-zone, all sludges must be removed.

Removal of any loose coating must be removed.

In the case of an interior coating, sludge and the like and rust must be removed so that the steel shall be free of the steel. Single stainspots may be left standing, but in this case, they must be investigated further for the depth of any possible rustic grip.

3. INTERIOR INSPECTION

In the case of steel tanks without internal corrosion protection, and in the case of cross-rosion-protected with the sacrificial anoder or with the stocking of the bottom zone, the minimum shall be carried out as follows :

a)
Checking the state of any applicable inner protection (state of stocking, consumption of anodes).
b)
Control of the interior corrosion of the steel. Positioning, dissemination, and depth are noted on sketches.
c)
Measurement of a thickness.
C1.
In the case of discarded tanks of exterior polyester / fibres (tanks buried after 1970) at least three measurements shall be randomly placed on each end of each unit and at least three measurements per unit. m length of the scourge. These must be distributed throughout the perimeter and the whole length of the length must be covered equitably. These measurements shall be required to confirm that the expected eval of the steel is present.
The c2.
In the case of buried tanks installed before 1970, the corrosion-residing corrosion-resistant shall be protected by bitumen and, if appropriate, (later installed) exterior catadic protection and which have not been checked with polyester / fiberglass, in connection with interior inspection and maintenance, an extended scale of the bulkhead wall must be carried out on the inside of the interior inspection and maintenance. These measurements must include a number of rounder belts of a minimum width of at least 10 cm at both uniformless, partially distributed over the length of the car, so that 3 m between two-door belts shall be the highest.
If the measurements are carried out at the manual point measure, the belts shall be divided up to 10 x 10 x 10 cm., within each of these fields are measured in increments of a minimum distance of 3 m and the minimum thickness of each 10 cm field shall be reported on ; sketches. If the spread of these measurements indicates the corrosion of a depth of more than 2 mm, the whole area in which the corrosion is implied, shall be carried out in actual detail.
C3.
For extraterrestrial tanks, account must be taken of possible support, cold bridges, poor state of exterior protection and so on at the location of the measurements for the thickening of the bulkhead.

For steel tanks with a full interior stocking, the state of the coating must be described.

In the case of steel tanks, where a comprehensive internal coating has been made with polyester / fiberglass, it is required that the stocking is transparent. It must be verified that this has been met, and in any case, the state of the coveralls must be described.

If there are armour or black specks under the coveralls, there is a risk that this is due to the outside of the outside. If such spots are less than one cm in diameter, new inspection interval is recommended for max5 years. Where a stain is between 1 cm and 5 cm in diameter, the proportionally shorter new inspection interval is fixed. Where such stains are more than 5 cm in diameter, the stocking must be taken away and the residual residue is measured in the areas concerned. If the thickness of the steel is acceptable, see section 5 and the stain may be regarded as a result of other reasons other than corrosion, may be used to make sanding and renovating the stocking. If the thickness of the steel is not acceptable, the idea shall be loaded. If there is a point of view, it is recommended to cut a piece of the tangle with a view to verifying that the soil outside is polluted.

4. STATE REPORT

We have to draw up sketches of the mindless heat of the tanker and a depiction of the scourge. At these, the location of man-hole, trimming and other armatur, welds, amplification rings, sacrificial anodes, etc.

The location of all observations is recorded in these outlines, such as typecon measurements, defective isolation (venting), bulges, defective swells, damage to coating, corrosion, etc., with references to more detailed partial reports where such are ; appropriate.

The state report shall contain a recommendation of the time for the next inspection.

5. RATING OF MEASUREMENTS OF THICKENING

The rate of measurement shall be assessed in relation to the following :

However, if the remaining thickness takes place under half of the original thickness (there must always be mine. In the case of 2,5 mm remaining, precautions shall be taken which prevent further corrosion. Typically, comprehensive internal coverings should be considered. Alternatively, the inspection interval must be made corresponding shorter, but it is recommended only to use this option to keep a tank in operation for a shorter time with a view to scheduled loop.

If the thinnest position of the tank is less than 2,5 mm, but more than 0,5 mm, the range for the next inspection shall be proportionate, regardless of the measures taken to prevent further corrosion.

If the thinnest place is less than 0,5 mm, the idea shall be localised within one year.

Individual grains have no bearing on the strength of the container, but they mean an increased risk of leakage, and no further action is needed in addition to the above.

Greater coherent corrodite areas must be assessed in more detail in order to determine whether the mechanical strength is significantly reduced.
