Ordinance prohibiting the importation of certain live animals and animal non-food products from Croatia and Switzerland 1)
Pursuant to § 37, § 67 and section 70 (3) of law No. 432 of 9. June 2004 on the keeping of animals shall be fixed:
§ 1. It is due to highly pathogenic avian influenza of the subtype H5N1 prohibited to introduce poultry and hatching eggs thereof, birds and hatching eggs thereof, raw pet food and unprocessed feed material containing any parts of wild feathered game and treated game trophies from any birds.
(2). The prohibition in paragraph 1 shall apply to:
1) animals and animal products originating in Croatia from all areas that are subject to restrictions as a result of highly pathogenic avian influenza of subtype H5N1 in accordance with decision 2006/563/EC.
2) animals and animal products originating in Switzerland from all areas that are subject to restrictions as a result of highly pathogenic avian influenza of subtype H5N1 in accordance with decision 2006/415/EC and 2006/563/EC.
§ 2. With fine punished anyone who violates article 1, paragraph 1.
(2). That can be imposed on companies, etc. (legal persons) criminal liability in accordance with the provisions of the criminal code 5. Chapter.
§ 3. The notice shall enter into force on 9 November. July 2008.
