Annex 1

Overview of level records

With the high school reform of 2003, all courses in the gymnasiale degree programmes in Denmark are provided with a level designation used when a student gets credit. The level term is one of the letters A, B and C, where A refers the highest level of the gym.

The sympaths on the following pages are used at the level placement of subjects from previous applicable regimes for secondary education to the extent the subjects were without level designation.

At the same time, the emphasis is drawn up that the school reform has been made the following change of the level records of the starting languages:

Level C starting before the school reform provides credit as starting language at level B, and the starting language at level B completed before the school reform provides credit as starting language at level A.

Where the diagrams are used in relation to the assessment of an application for credit from students who have the right to credit after Section 3, the limitation requirement in section 17 shall apply simultaneously.

As an example of the application of the form, a student who has completed the subject’s visual arts as electives in the single subject system in 2003, after application is entitled to credit for the subject at B level in a gymnial education, which the student is admitted in 2008.

If the previous completed courses have been completed for more than five years ago, the form can be used for the school’s specific assessment of whether credit is granted.
