on the agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government

The people's Democratic Republic of Yemen on cooperation in the field of

health care



On 12 June 2006. February 1981 in Aden was the agreement signed between the Government of

The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Yemen Arab folk

Democratic Republic on cooperation in the field of health. The agreement

entered into force pursuant to its article 9 on the day of 19. May 1982.



The Czech version of the agreement shall be published at the same time.

The AGREEMENT



between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of Yemen

the people's Democratic Republic on cooperation in the field of health



The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Yemen Arab folk

Democratic Republic,



and desiring to strengthen the friendly relations and cooperation in the field of

health sector between the two countries,



have decided to conclude this agreement:



Article 1



The Contracting Parties shall develop cooperation and to promote the mutual exchange of

experience in matters of health.



Article 2



The parties will exchange experiences in the area of health and

the management of health services, especially in the area of prevention and treatment

diseases, health and care, protiepidemické medical education and

experience with the use of medical instruments, equipment and medicines.



Article 3



The Contracting Parties shall exchange programs and study materials

trips, conferences and meetings on issues of health.

In the case that on the territory of one of the Contracting Parties will be held the Congress with

international participation, invite that party to the other party

participation in this Congress.



Article 4



The Contracting Parties shall exchange lists of medical literature, films about

health care, teaching, and the visuals and other AIDS from the

medical education.



Article 5



The parties will exchange experience in the field of prevention,

diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases and will send each other

reports on the epidemiological situation.



Article 6



The Contracting Parties shall cooperate in the field of training of the medical

personnel:



1. The two parties shall encourage the exchange of doctors and other health care

training of staff in order to provide options for the study

some types of the disease.



2. the scope of exchanges of experts between the two countries and the conditions of their broadcasts and

receiving remuneration will be agreed upon, including the form of between the competent

organisations of both countries.



3. the Contracting Parties shall exchange educational AIDS and teaching

experience.



Article 7



The competent authorities and institutions of both parties will accept

sick citizens of the other party treatment in hospitals under the conditions

the agreed cooperation plans agreed in accordance with article 8.



Article 8



For the purposes of execution of this agreement the Contracting Parties shall negotiate specific

cooperation plans for certain periods of time, which will also contain

financial and organisational conditions for the implementation of this agreement.



Article 9



This agreement is subject to approval by the national rules of the Contracting

Parties and shall enter into force on the date of exchange of notes concerning its approval. Is

concluded for the period of 5 years and its validity will automatically renew

always about the next 5 years, unless one of the Contracting Parties in writing

denounces it six months before the expiry of the relevant period of validity.



Due in Aden on 12 June 2006. February 1981, in duplicate each in the language

the Czech, Arabic and English languages, each text being equally

force.
