The Czech National Council decided on the following Act:



Article. (I)



Act No. 174/1968 Coll., on State specialized supervision of work safety,

as amended by the Act of the Czech National Council No. 576/1990 Coll., with scope for

The Czech Republic amended and supplemented as follows:



1. paragraph 1 reads:



"§ 1



(1) State technical supervision over the safety of work and technical equipment and

compliance with the operating conditions provided for by this Act

professional supervision institutions of the State, which are Czech Office

labour safety and labour protection inspectorates (hereinafter "the institutions

State professional supervision ").



(2) State supervision over the safety of dedicated professional technical

equipment of the Organization of the State professional supervision established by the Czech

the Office of safety work ^ 1) and other legal entities who do not operate

business activities, ^ 2) entrusted with the Government of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as

"the Organization of the State professional supervision"). ".

2. paragraph 2 is added:



"§ 2



In the Czech Republic establishes the Czech Office of work safety inspectorates

safety at work, to whom they are answerable. At the head of the inspectorates

work safety are leading work safety inspectors,

appoints and dismisses the President of the Czech Office of work safety. The President of the

3. In the heading of section 3, after the word "bodies", the words "and

organisation ".



4. In article 3, paragraph 3. 1 reads as follows:



"(1) the scope of the institutions and organisations of the State professional supervision is

applies to all organizations and individuals engaged in

business activity with regard to the operation of this activity (hereinafter referred to as

"entrepreneurial natural persons"). ".



5. In section 3, paragraph 3. 2, after the words "the scope of the authorities," the words "and

organisation ".



6. In section 3, paragraph 3. 3 read as follows:



"(3) the Government of the United States may extend the scope of authorities and organisations

State professional supervision and the technical equipment referred to in paragraph 2

(a). b).".



7. In paragraph 4 (b). a) is added:



"and shall keep that) compliance with the standards to ensure the safety

work and of technical equipment and provisions laying down the working conditions,

12. in § 5 para. 1 the words "are deleted and the Slovak Office of safety

work within the limits of its territorial jurisdiction ".



13. in § 5 para. 1 in c), (d)), e) and (g)), the verb "perform"

the "issued to", "decisions" and "coordinate" shall be replaced by the same verbs in

the singular.



14. in § 5 para. 1 (b). (f)):



"(f)) determines, after consultation with the organisations of the State professional supervision,

which technical devices are considered allocated ".



15. in section 5, paragraph 2 shall be deleted and paragraph numbering is hereby repealed.



16. in section 6 (1). 1 (b). a) is added:

17. in paragraph 6 (1). 2 (a). a) and b) are added:

19. section 7 reads as follows:

"§ 7a

Article II



The Bureau of the Czech National Council shall be empowered, in the collection of laws

declared the full text of Act No. 174/1968 Coll., on State specialized supervision

over the safety of work with competence for the Czech Republic, as is apparent from the

later laws.



Article. (III)



This Act shall take effect on 1 January 2000. April 1992.
