amending certain laws in the area of travel documents
Parliament has passed the following Act of the United States:
PART THE FIRST
Amendment to the law on travel documents
Article. (I)
Act No. 326/1999 Coll. on travel documents and on the amendment of Act No.
283/1991 Coll., on the police of the Czech Republic, as subsequently amended,
(the law on travel documents), as amended by Act No. 218/2002 Coll., Act
No. 320/2002 Coll., Act No. 539/2004 Coll., Act No. 561/2004 Coll., Act No.
137/2006 Coll., Act No. 106/2007 Coll. and Act No. 379/2007 Coll., is amended
as follows:
1. In article 3, paragraph 3. 1, the second sentence is replaced by the phrase "to exceed the
the border ^ 1f) with a Member State of the European Union can be used as a travel document
use the ID card ^ 1 d). ".
Footnote # 1e is hereby repealed.

Article. 4 (4). 1 and article. 5 (3). 1 directive of the European Parliament and of the Council

90/365/EEC and 93/96/EEC. '.
2. in § 5 para. 4, the words "five years old" is deleted.
3. In article 5, paragraph 5 shall be deleted.
The present paragraph 6 becomes paragraph 5.
4. In article 11 (1) 1 the words "legacy 5 years and" shall be deleted.
5. In article 11 (1) 2, the part of the sentence after the semicolon including semicolon shall be deleted.
6. in article 11, paragraph 3 shall be deleted.
Paragraph 4 becomes paragraph 3.
7. In article 11 (1) 3 the words "1-3" shall be replaced by "1 and 2".
8. In section 20 (2). 1 introductory part of the provisions, the number "2" is replaced by
"3".
9. in section 20 (2). 5 the second sentence be deleted.
10. in section 29 para. 2 (a). (d)) and in section 29, paragraph 2. 2 (a). (d)), the words "and
the kind of "shall be replaced by" type, date of issue and period of validity "and on the
the end of the text, the words "and the place and date of the announcement of the loss
or stolen ".
Article. (II)
The Prime Minister shall be empowered, in the collection of laws promulgated the full text
Act No. 326/1999 Coll. on travel documents and on the amendment of Act No.
283/1991 Coll., on the police of the Czech Republic, as subsequently amended,
(the law on travel documents), as derived from the laws of it changing.

Amendment of the Act on asylum

Act No. 325/1999 Coll., on asylum and on the amendment of Act No. 283/1991 Coll., on the
Police of the Czech Republic, as amended, (asylum Act),
as amended by law No. 2/2002 Coll., Act No. 218/2002 Coll., Act No.
320/2002 Coll., Act No. 519/2002 Coll., Act No. 222/2003 Coll., Act No.
501/2004 Coll., Act No. 539/2004 Coll., Act No. 57/2005 Coll., Act No.
350/2005 Coll., Act No 444/2005 Coll., Act No. 112/2006 Coll., Act No.
137/2006 Coll., Act No. 165/2006 Coll., Act No. 170/2007 Coll., Act No.

1. In § 61 para. 2, the words "at the age of 5 to" shall be replaced by "younger".
2. In article 61, paragraph 5 shall be deleted.
The present paragraph 6 becomes paragraph 5.
3. In § 63 para. 2, the words "and 5" are deleted.

Amendment of the Act on residence of aliens in the territory of the Czech Republic

1. In § 111 paragraph. 2 in § 160 paragraph. 2 (a). (e)) and in section 164 paragraph. 1 (b). (g))
the words ' and 4 ' shall be deleted.
2. In section 113 para. 1 the words "aged 5 to" shall be replaced by "younger".
3. In article 113, paragraph 4 shall be deleted.
Paragraphs 5 to 10 shall be renumbered as paragraphs 4 to 9.
4. In article 115 paragraph. 3 is the number "8" is replaced by "7".
5. In section 158 paragraph 2. 1 (b). (b)) at the end of the text of point 13, the words "and
of the date of notification of loss or theft of a document ".

1. In part IX under item 115 letters and) and (b)):

2. In part IX in the 115 (a). g), the words "5 years and older"
shall be deleted.
3. In part IX under item 115 letter h) is added:
"h) release of the alien Passport no
machine readable data and without
the data carrier $ 1 500
-foreigners under the age of 15 years CZK 1 000 ".
4. In section XII in the letter and 157):
"a passport is) machine
legible characters and with the carrier data € 1 200
– citizens under the age of 15 years CZK 400 ".
5. In section XII. under item 157 (d)):
"(d)) passports without
machine readable data and without
the data carrier $ 1 600
– citizens under the age of 15 years CZK 1 100 ".
PART FIVE
Amendment to Act No. 137/2006 Coll.
Article. (VI)
In the first article. (II) point 5, in the second article. In point 2, and in the third section
article. VII paragraph 2 of Act No. 137/2006 Coll., amending some laws on the
section of the travel document, the words "1. May 2008 ' is replaced by ' 1.
April 2009 ".
Article. (VII)
1. the application for the issue of a travel document with biometric data with carrier
data without the fingerprint data can be filed with the authority responsible for its
issue in accordance with the applicant's place of residence not later than 24. March
2009.
2. in the event that the travel document with biometric data with carrier
data that does not contain the fingerprint data of the hands, issued prior to the
on 1 January 2004. April 2009, a defect that requires the release of the new
the passport after that date, shall be issued a travel document with data carrier
with the biometric data that contains fingerprint data, on the
the basis of a new application for the issuance of a travel document with the data carrier with the
biometric data.
PART SIX
The EFFECTIVENESS of the
Article. (VIII)
This Act shall take effect on the date of its publication.
