170/1991 Coll. COMMUNICATION of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs informs that on 18 February 1991, Ankara agreed in an exchange of letters between the Government of the Federal Arrangements Czech and Slovak Republic and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on the visa waiver for holders of diplomatic, special or service passports. Agreement entered into force on 20 March 1991. The Czech translation arrangements are announced simultaneously. Republic of Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ankara, 18 February 1991, Your Excellency, I have the honor to inform Your Excellency that it, in order to further consolidate the existing friendly relations between our two countries, the Government of Turkey proposes that conclude Agreement on the abolition of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, special or service passport which reads as follows : 1. The citizens of the Contracting States, who are holders of valid diplomatic or service passports, special may enter into the other Contracting State and reside there three months without a visa. 1.2 Members of the diplomatic, administrative and technical or service staff of the diplomatic mission or consular job post of a Contracting State in the territory of the other Contracting State, the official representatives of a Contracting State in international organizations having headquarters in the territory of the other Contracting State, as well as the members of the delegation of a Contracting State broadcasting it participate the international negotiations on the territory of the other Contracting State , unless they hold a valid diplomatic or service passport, may stay in the territory of the other Contracting State for a period of their assignment without visas. 2.2 The same treatment applies it to family members of persons referred to in this paragraph 1.2, unless they hold a valid diplomatic or service passports, special. 3. The Contracting States shall transmit through diplomatic channels specimens of new or modified diplomatic, special or service passports, including information on their document, at least 30 days before their introduction into practice. 7. This Agreement is for an indefinite period II. Any Party may to withdraw from the period of three months. If the above provisions are acceptable to the Government of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, I have the honor to propose that this letter, it, together with Your Excellency's reply to that effect consisted agreement between the two Governments in this matter which will enter into force on the thirtieth day after the date of the response letter to Your Excellency '.
