The Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs communicates the day 3. September 1991

It was in Prague, agreed upon an exchange of notes between the Government of the Czech and Arrangements

Slovak Federal Republic and the Government of the Republic of Bolivia on the abolition of

the visa requirement for holders of diplomatic and service passports.

Agreement entered into force on 18. September 1991.



The Czech text of the Czechoslovak notes and a translation of the note verbale of Bolivia shall be published

at the same time.

In order to strengthen the cordial relations that exist between the

I have the honour to propose, on behalf of my Government to your Excellency the conclusion of the Agreement

on the abolition of visa requirement for holders of diplomatic and service

Passport reads as follows:



Article 1



1. Czechoslovak citizens, holders of valid diplomatic or

service passport, can travel to the Republic of Bolivia, and to stay in it

three months without a visa.



2. Bolivia's citizens, holders of valid diplomatic, service and

the official passport, can travel to the Czech and Slovak Federal

The Republic and reside in it for three months without a visa.



Article 2



1. Czechoslovak citizens, members of the diplomatic, administrative and

technical or service staff of diplomatic missions or

consular office on the territory of the Republic of Bolivia, the official representatives of the

international governmental organizations having its registered office in the territory of Bolivia

States, or the officials of such international organizations as well as

the members of Czechoslovak delegations to international negotiations by radio on

the territory of the Republic of Bolivia, provided they hold valid diplomatic

or service passport, may stay in the territory of the Republic of Bolivia, after

the period of allocation without visas. The same adjustment applies to family

valid diplomatic and service passport.



2. Bolivia's citizens, members of the diplomatic, administrative and

technical or service staff of diplomatic missions or

consular office on the territory of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic,

official representatives of the international governmental organizations established

on the territory of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic or officials such

international organizations, as well as members of the Bolivian delegation of broadcasting

to international negotiations on the territory of the Czech and Slovak Federal

States when they are holders of valid diplomatic, service and

the official passport, may stay on the territory of the Czech and Slovak Federal

States for their allocation without visas. The same adjustment applies to

members of the family referred to the Bolivian citizens, if they are holders of

valid diplomatic, service and official passport.



Article 3 of the



Persons referred to in articles 1 and 2 may exceed national borders on all

border crossings designated for international travel.



Article 4 of the



This agreement is without prejudice to the right of the competent authorities of the Contracting States

deny entry or residence to persons whose presence in the territory of the other

Contracting State is undesirable.



Article 5



Each Contracting State may, on grounds of public policy, security or

protection of the health of the whole or part of the execution of this agreement.

Interrupt and termination will be communicated through the diplomatic channel

the other Contracting State.
