Rules for the establishment and evaluation of the growing tests
1. The purpose and principle of the growing tests
(1) the test to assess the properties of vegetation planting
material in characters that are difficult to detectable by other methods,
or is their other methods of fixing a few supporting or too
costly.
(2) the vegetation to the test checks for generic and varietal purity and
for authenticity, the percentage of hybridnosti, or health status. It is also
tracks whether during the process of seed multiplication does not change characters
the varieties.
(3) the authenticity of the variety shall be assessed on the basis of a visual comparison
plant arising in a control plot sown with representative
lot and plant under consideration arising on the plot of land sown with standard
a sample of the variety concerned. This detects whether the plants sample
correspond to the official description of the variety.
(4) the level of purity of the variety shall be assessed by the findings of the number of such plants
arising on the control plot, which do not correspond precisely to the description of the variety.
This checks whether a sample examined complies with the standards laid down for the
the purity of variety.
2. types of vegetation of the tests
2.1 Growing tests according to schemes, the Organisation for economic
cooperation and development
(1) the Institute certifies seed according to the schemes, the Organisation for economic
cooperation and development for the varietal certification of seed moving on
the international market. Certificates that confirm the authenticity and
the purity of seed are issued provided satisfactory result
input test, sampling vegetation on the output of vegetation
exam and qualified result field of the show or shows.
and vegetation: test) input
1. the test is performed in the same or the previous growing season,
in which it is evaluated by the crop,
2. the evaluation of the test input input vegetation planting
the material can be used in the evaluation of the crop species,
3. evaluation of the growing tests should coincide with the evaluation
crops,
4. in the case of detection of defects is found their cause and shall be
the severity. If this is not about external factors, these deficiencies have reason to
refusing the certificate,
b) output growing test:
1. the test is conducted in a growing season, when the lot is already recognized
and it is put into circulation, or even vyseta on the surface of normal cultivation,
Therefore, in the case of defects are found, you can perform any action only in
those lots or parts thereof which have not yet been put into circulation,
2. compared with plants grown from seed lots with recognised
plants grown from the standard sample, therefore, results
output growing tests serve to check whether, during the propagation
the seed does not occur to unwanted changes in the varietal purity,
3. output growing test may be growing at the same time the input
test for seed the next generation,
4. output the test it is necessary to establish a vegetation for hybrid varieties,
because in these cases, you cannot judge the authenticity or the purity of the variety in the
množitelském crop seed.
2.2 Field of vegetation as a follow-up test and inspection of seed
referred to the circulation
It is performed in the following cases:
and breeding) propagating material which is marketed,
b) pre-basic and basic propagating material
such varieties in the previous certification of propagation
the stands appear to be problematic or in respect of which the supplier has filed for the first time
the application for recognition,
(c)) when you check the production and marketing of propagating material into circulation,
(d)) when you check the standard seed and seedlings of vegetables,
(e)) when you check the selected seed and seed potatoes imported from third
countries,
f) when checking the authorised persons
g) when checking officially unchecked varieties
h) claims supply of seed,
I) for lots of seeds, which is a doubt as to the authenticity or clean
variety,
(j)) at follow-up, hybridnosti
the seed retained) varieties,
l) seed of varieties varieties for growing under particular
conditions,
m) when checking the auto-vzorkovadla.
2.3 checking the percentage of hybridnosti
The test is performed in the form of subsequent control of seed of hybrid varieties.
How to perform the tests for each species is given in table 1.

3.2 the standard pattern
(1) the standard sample is a sample of seed of a variety that is a trial
the sample was compared to verify varietal identity and purity. Is
always vysetý in the immediate vicinity of the test sample.
(2) as the standard pattern is used
and the sample supplied by the Institute) when registering varieties
(b)), which the Institute's requests from the breeder or maintainer of the
variety,
(c)) in the variety registered abroad sample supplied at the request of the Institute
the official authority of the country concerned.
(3) As the standard pattern, you can use
and) officially sampled the seed and propagating material předstupňů
Basic propagating material,
b) certified propagating material of the first generation with synthetic
allogamních species and varieties of all hybrid varieties,
c) parental inbred lines and components in the categories of propagating
material předstupňů or basic propagating material, that are
used to produce hybrid varieties.
These samples can be used, provided that the seed was compared
uniformity and stability with the sample supplied by the Institute when
the registration of varieties.
(4) in case of loss of germination or consumption supplies seed Institute
request a new standard pattern, in advance of at least one
the growing season.
3.3 Pitches for test vegetation
(1) the vegetation of the exam are based on test stations of the Institute in the
the conditions of the field maloparcelních tests or in protected areas
greenhouses or fóliovníků.
(2) the test is based on the vegetation of the climatically warmer areas, with
possibility of irrigation done faster, that guarantees the possibility of an earlier
reviews of plants than in areas with fields in the stands.
(3) the land on which the plots with vegetation trials placed,
may not be zaplevelen wild plants of the same or of a closely
relative to the type and sequence of crops should guarantee that the seed of the soil supplies
does not affect the evaluation of the test.
(4) the test species are grown on control plots in accordance with the
agrotechnickými principles for the plant species.
(5) on the control plots, restricts the use of herbicides, fertilizers and
growth regulators, that was not affected by the morphology of the plants and prevent
lodging resistance.
(6) test plots are distributed on the land by plant species,
the variety and type of vegetation in the tests in accordance with the following criteria:
and) test plot is located as close to the plot of the standard
a sample of the variety,
(b) samples of the relatives) lots of the same variety and similar varieties are
sown side by side,
(c)) if the sample is vyséván in more variants, repetition must be placed
the other part of the site, especially in species where the evaluation carried out
measurement.
(7) the minimum amount of control plots, or the lowest number of
plants for each species are listed in table 3

4. test procedure for evaluation of vegetation
Ongoing evaluation of varietal purity can be carried out throughout the period
growth and development of plants, which are obvious signs of the variety concerned. Community plant variety
the characters are divided into primary and secondary. When the evaluation is the need to focus
mainly on plants of different and unusual. These are detailing and
visibly marks that have not been evaluated repeatedly. Performs an estimate of
the number of individuals on the plot and are different types. The values determined
compared to the tables. If the number of different plants equal to or
exceeds the values in the table, the assessment is repeated.
4.1 Evaluation of varietal identity and purity of agricultural species with the exception of

4.3 Reviews checks the percentage of hybridnosti.
The percentage of hybridnosti is calculated as the ratio of the number of non-compliant
the total number of plants evaluated plants. In assessing pylově
the sterile hybrid component, in addition to establishing the level of hybridnosti
checks whether the given component plants do not produce viable pollen.
4.4 Evaluation ex post control of seed potatoes.
During the test the planted 100 tubers (4 x 25 PCs) on the test plot. During
the vegetation of each trial plot checks twice, and it
komisionelní parade. Growing tests are evaluated according to the requirements of the
on the seed.
4.5 Evaluation follow-up standard vegetable seed.
Shall be assessed according to the type specified by the number of plants or the quantity of plants
stand on the stage with an area referred to in table 3.
In addition, evaluates different carrots to color the roots for beet salad with eyeballs
white circles and eyeballs with distinctive bright circles. The brood of vegetables with
usually retain the selected fruit to full maturity for the control
varietal character.
4.6 Rating control seedlings of vegetables.
The test and its evaluation is similar to section 4.5.
4.7 Reviews determine the percentage of occurrence of coarse me in seed
sugar beet and fodder beet.
