On 26 April. October 1967 was signed in Paris a cultural agreement between the Government

The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the French Republic.



According to article 24 of the Agreement entered into force on 9 July 2005. February 1968.



The Czech version of the agreement shall be published at the same time.

The agreement



between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the French

Republic on scientific and technical cooperation



The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the French

Republic,



Desiring to facilitate and develop cooperation between Czechoslovakia and

France in the field of science and technology,



convinced that this cooperation will contribute to the strengthening of friendly relations

and exchanges between the two countries,



have decided to conclude this agreement:



Article 1



Both Contracting Parties undertake to develop and strengthen the scientific

and technical cooperation. By mutual agreement shall define the individual areas

This cooperation, taking into account the experience gained scientists and engineers

both States and the possibilities, offering in particular areas.



Article 2



Scientific and technical cooperation referred to in article 1 shall be carried out:

Sciences, studying engineering, engineers and technicians of both States;



(b)) by organizing trips of specialists and technicians;



(c)) the exchange of scientific and technical documentation;



(d)) by organizing scientific and technical lectures, conferences and

colloquia.



Article 3



The Contracting Parties take note of the Agreement between the Czechoslovak

the Academy of Sciences and the national centre of scientific research closed 21.

May 1964 and will support both institutions when the continuation and

the expansion of their relations in the field of scientific research.



Article 4



The two Contracting Parties shall promote the establishment and development of centres for

Scientific and technical documentation of other countries on its territory and, to that

purpose shall take appropriate measures.



Article 5



Each Contracting Party shall facilitate the further expansion of scientific and

technical books and publications of the other country, both commercial way

in the form of exchanges and donations.



Article 6

Article 7

Article 8

Article 9



Each Contracting Party shall notify the other party in writing of the approval

Agreement in accordance with their respective constitutional rules. Agreement shall enter

validity from the date of the last of the written notification.



Article 10



This agreement shall be concluded for five years and may be tacitly extended.

Each Contracting Party may denounce it with six months ' notice

Done at Prague on 29. June 1965 in two copies, each in the language
