on the agreement on cultural cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist

the Republic and the Government of the Mongolian people's Republic



On 25 April. April 1973 in Prague signed the agreement on cultural cooperation

between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Mongolian

the people's Republic.



According to article 17 of the Agreement entered into force on 7 February 2004. June 1973.



The Czech version of the agreement shall be published at the same time.

The agreement



on cultural cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist

the Republic and the Government of the Mongolian people's Republic



The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Mongolian people's

Republic,



Desiring to further deepen and develop the friendly and fraternal relations

among the peoples of the two countries on the principles of Marxism-Leninism, Socialist

internationalism and in accordance with the Treaty on friendship and cooperation

between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Mongolian people's

Republic of,



Noting that the agreement on cultural cooperation between the Czechoslovak

Republic and the Mongolian people's Republic from 8 March. April 1957 played

an important role in the development of the friendship and cooperation of peoples of the two States in the

the enrichment and development of mutual relations in the field of culture, education and

Science,



have decided to conclude this agreement:



Article 1



The Contracting Parties shall develop and deepen cooperation in the field of

education, science, education, culture, literature and art, the press, film,

radio, television, public health, tourism, physical education, sport and

in other areas, on which they agree.



Article 2



The Contracting Parties shall consistently learn about working people of their country with

the successes of the Socialist construction in the other country, with political, economic

and cultural life of their peoples, as well as to the implementation and the results of the

cooperation between the two countries.



Article 3



The Contracting Parties shall facilitate cooperation and the exchange of experience in the field of

high, middle, and secondary specialised education in General

education and in the education of apprentices.



To this end they shall:



and facilitate the exchange of information and) publications about new pedagogical

the methods and experience of teaching and on high, professional,

secondary and vocational schools;



(b) support the implementation of the exchange of teachers) and researchers to

improving their qualifications, for lectures and consultations and to transmit the

experience;



(c) to cooperate in the field of training) cadres with higher education,

upper secondary school and vocational education, to prepare the candidate and

doctoral dissertations and for their advocacy work in the other country;



(d)), in accordance with national provisions on the mutual recognition of diplomas

their universities and other higher education institutions, a report card on their

secondary schools, as well as diplomas conferring the grant scientific ranks;



(e) promote the exchange of students), the aspirants and trainees for

the purpose of study, language, practice, participating in seminars,

consultations and excursions;



(f) assist in establishing direct cooperation) between high, medium and

professional schools;



g) provide each other with the practical and methodological assistance in issuing the

textbooks for high and middle school and exchange textbooks.



Article 4



The Contracting Parties shall assist in exploring the national cultures and arts of the second

of the country.



For this purpose will be to promote:



and professional performances and) mutual amateur collectives,

individual artists and art agents meeting;



b) organizing exhibitions of fine arts and decorative arts, paintings and

photos;



(c) cooperation in the preparation of and) upgrading the skills of workers of art and

beautiful literature translators;



(d) cooperation in resolving major) literary and artistic works, and

the mutual exchange of prints, art magazines and books from the field of culture

and the arts;



(e) the exchange of film experts and) staff, the screening of films and their

dubbed, the organisation of film festivals, art Exchange,

documentary films and news within the framework of cooperation between the movie

organizations of the two countries;



(f)) develop cooperation and creative workers organising days of literature and

music.



Article 5



The Contracting Parties shall facilitate cooperation between the Publisher's

organisations, journalists, newspaper editors, scientific,

cultural, artistic and professional magazines, developing close cooperation

in the Exchange and publication of materials about the other country and to assist in the exchange of

journalists and correspondents.



Each Party shall provide assistance to journalists and correspondents

the other country during their stay on its territory.



Article 6



The Contracting Parties shall promote cooperation between libraries, archives and

museums in both countries.



Article 7



The Contracting Parties shall encourage the exchange of doctors, scientific and other

workers in health care and medical science in accordance with the Convention

on cooperation in the health sector and in order to obtain and exchange of experience and

the expansion of cooperation in various fields of healthcare.



Article 8



The Contracting Parties shall promote cooperation between press agencies,

radio and television organizations to popularize and promote

the achievements of the other countries in the fields of politics, economy, culture and science.



To this end, will make it possible to:



and) mutual exchange of information, articles, photos and other materials

for the publication in the press, radio and television;



(b)) the exchange of special radio and television programmes, films,

music and other recordings on the occasion of public holidays and other

major events;



(c)) of the following areas the exchange of staff to discuss issues

cooperation, exchange of experiences and getting scientific, technical and other

study and promotional materials.



Article 9



The Contracting Parties shall facilitate the development of the relations between the Central

sports and sports organisations, the organisation of competitions and friendly

the meeting, to develop direct cooperation between the sports organisations,

the exchange of athletes and trainers, exchange of scientific and methodological information and

the experience of international matches.



Article 10



The Contracting Parties shall promote the close and effective cooperation between the Committee

Czechoslovakia-Czechoslovak friendship on the Mongolian society

for international contacts and Companies in Mongolia-Czechoslovak

the friendship between companies for the dissemination of scientific knowledge, and between

trade unions, women's organizations, youth and pioneers and other

social organizations of the two countries.



Article 11



The Contracting Parties shall encourage the development of cooperation between organizations

dealing with tourism, in the interest of broadening and deepening of friendly

relations of the peoples of both countries.



Article 12



The Contracting Parties will encourage other countries ' leaders to invite

congresses, conferences, art festivals and at a meeting of an international nature,

that will be held in their country.



Article 13



The Contracting Parties shall:



-facilitate the further improvement of versatile cultural cooperation between

the countries of the Socialist community;



-Exchange of information on cultural relations with third countries;



-provide assistance in international organizations, to advise on the preparation of

and participate in the negotiations of conventions and conferences of international importance in the field of

culture.



Article 14



For the implementation of this agreement, the two parties to negotiate on certain

periods of cultural cooperation plans, including their financial

collateral. Cultural cooperation plans will be negotiated in

The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Mongolian people's Republic.

The Contracting Parties shall consider when discussing the new plan, the results of the performance

the previous plan.



Article 15



The date on which this agreement enters into force shall cease to be in force, the agreement on the

cultural cooperation between the Czechoslovak Republic and Mongolian

people's Republic of 8 September. April 1957.



Article 16



This agreement is concluded for a period of ten years and will prolong the always on

a further five years, unless one of the Contracting Parties denounces it six months

before the expiry of the relevant period of validity.



Article 17



This agreement is subject to approval by the national rules of the Contracting

Parties and shall enter into force on the date of exchange of notes concerning its approval.



This agreement was signed in Prague on 25. April 1973 in two

copies, each in the Czech language and Mongolian languages, both texts being

have the same force.
