Dial countries (ČZEM)
The Czech Statistical Office pursuant to § 7 para. 2 of Act No. 89/1995 Coll., on
the national statistical service, as amended, to announce with
effect from 1. January 2007 update to the dial countries (hereinafter referred to as "ČZEM")
issued by the Czech Statistical Office's communication No. 489/2003 Coll.
December 18, 2003.
ČZEM are reflected in the updated changes published by the Organisations
the United Nations in the list of States and territories (hereinafter referred to as "countries"),
that have been made on the basis of the official communications of the Member States
Of the UNITED NATIONS. The code name and the official full and short names of countries published
International Organization for Standardization-ISO. Items that are
the subject of the ČZEM update are listed in the annex to this communication.
The acronym ČZEM Dial countries becomes CZEM.
Valid text of the updated Dial countries will be available on a carrier
in electronic form in the Information Services Department of the Czech
the Statistical Office, The Director of 81, 100 82 Prague 10 and on
the CSO's website at www.czso.cz.
