The COMMUNICATION FROM the



Ministry of Foreign Affairs



Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the exchange of notes dated June 24. January

and 27. February 1996 in Bonn and Prague has been negotiated agreement between the Government of the Czech

the Republic and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany for the establishment of tourist

trails crossing the State border.



This agreement has been negotiated on the basis of article 3, paragraph 3. 1 the agreement between the

the Government of the United Kingdom and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on the small

border traffic on the hiking trails and tourist zones and

crossing national borders, in special cases, of 3 July 2003.

The agreement entered into force on 27 August. February 1996.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs has the honour to inform the Embassy of the Czech

Republic, in view of the negotiations between the delegations of experts of the Federal Republic

The delegations of Germany and the United States on the establishment of tourist

trails crisscross the border, which was carried out on 27. --29.

November 1995 in Cham, the final text of the Agreement between the Government of the Federal

Republic of Germany and the Government of the United Kingdom on the establishment of tourist

trails crossing the border, the text of which should be the following:

The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of the United States have agreed to

pursuant to article 3, paragraph 3. 1 of the agreement between the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany

and the Government of the United States on local border traffic at the tour

trails and tourist zones and on the crossing of State borders in the

special cases of 3 June. November 1994 (hereinafter referred to as "the agreement") on the

The crossing of State borders on the hiking trails referred to in point

1 usually is allowed per day



from 6.00 pm. to 10 pm. in the period from 1. April 30. September and



from 8 am. to 6 pm. in the period from 1. October to 31 December 2006. March.



On the tourist path Kreuzstein-Cross stone is crossing

allowed to cross the border daily from 6.00 pm. to 10 pm. in the period from 1.

June to 31. October and from 8 am. to 6 pm. in the period from 1. December

until 31 December 2006. March.

Open the above hiking trails will take place on 1 May 2004. March

1996.

The progress of the hiking trails on each of the sovereign base areas will be

communicated in the form of special diplomatic notes.



If the Government of the Czech Republic expressed acceptance of the proposals of the Federal Republic of

Germany, a verbal response, this certificate and certificate of the Ministry of

Foreign Affairs, the consent of the Government of the Czech Republic, the arrangement

between the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of the United Kingdom, which
