The agreement
between the Czechoslovak Republic and the German Empire, on the adjustment of the working and
business relationships on the social insurance of the crews on the Czechoslovak
ships sailing on the river Elbe.
ON BEHALF OF THE CZECHOSLOVAK REPUBLIC. ON BEHALF OF THE CZECHOSLOVAK REPUBLIC AND EMPIRE
THE GERMAN WAS NEGOTIATED THIS AGREEMENT WITH THE FINAL PROTOCOL:
The agreement between the Czechoslovak Republic and the German Empire on the adjustment
working and business relationships and the social insurance of the crews on the
Czechoslovak ships on the Elbe River. The Czechoslovak Republic and
the German Empire, desiring to accounts working and staff ratios and social
the crews of Czechoslovak insurance ships on the Elbe, the detailed

To this end, have designated their agents:

Article 1.
People who have their place of residence in Germany and employed are on
Czechoslovak ships are subject to German law work and
German social insurance. This is true even when the ship is in
Czechoslovakia.
Persons who have their residence in Czechoslovakia, and the employed are on
Czechoslovak ships are subject to the law of the work and the Czechoslovak
the Czechoslovakian social insurance. This also applies to the time when the ship
they are in Germany.
Persons who are employed exclusively in the territory of one of the two States,
within the meaning of this Agreement shall have his place of residence in this State.
Article 2.
For people who have their place of residence in Germany and employed are on
ships of the Czechoslovak Elbe navigation joint stock company, performs
the rights and fulfil the responsibilities, which the German legislation and article 1. This
the agreement reserves or stores employers or entrepreneurs, branch

Article 3.
Up to the time when it will be introduced in the Czechoslovak Republic invalidity and
old-age insurance of the workers, they are the person in article 1, para. 2.,

Article 4.
Both States will make his authorities and holders of insurance necessary instructions for

Legal aid spending is paid according to the legislation in force in the State in
where legal aid is granted.
Article 5.
Exemption or concession revenue and fee, which are in force in one of the two
States in the field of labour and social insurance law, apply in the cause
conditions this can modified it and in favour of the appellants and
applicants in the State second.
Article 6.
This agreement shall be ratified. Ratification shall be, if possible,
first replaced in Prague. The agreement shall enter into force on the date of the exchange of
instruments of ratification and shall remain in force until 31 December 2006. July 1925.
If, three months before the expiry of one of the States
termination, shall remain in force for another year.
Article 7.
This agreement, the Czechoslovak and German texts are legally
equivalent, in two original copies, one of which will be stored in
the archives of the Government of Czechoslovakia, the other in the archives of the Government of the German.

The final Protocol.
At the signing of the agreement today between the Czechoslovak Republic and
the German Empire on the adjustment of employment and service relationships, and social
the crews of Czechoslovak insurance ships on the Elbe River, agreed
the agents of the two parties on the following points:
1. For ships of the Czechoslovak, which employed are persons having their
resident in Germany, the German measures of protection against injury, and even
When ships are in Czechoslovakia.
2. German accident and disability insurance holders may set out to do
on ships under number 1. designated in the territory of the German Empire control

3. when applications for legal aid (article 4) connects offices and holders
