about the requirements applicable to some frozen food
The Ministry of agriculture shall be determined according to § 18 para. 1 (b). a), g), (h)), and
m) Act No. 110/1997 Coll. on foodstuffs and tobacco products and
amendments to some related laws, as amended by Act No.
316/2004 Coll. (hereinafter the "Act"):
§ 1
The subject of the edit
This Decree ^ 1) incorporates the relevant provisions of the European
Community ^ 2) and governs the labelling, minimum technological
requirements, the method of storage and handling during the circulation,
requirements for the transport and the collection of samples for some of the frozen food.
§ 2
Definition of terms
(1) For the purposes of this Ordinance, means the

§ 3
Labelling

§ 4
Technological requirements
(1) as the freezing medium which come into direct contact with the

(2) the raw material used in the manufacture of quick-frozen foodstuffs must
meet the requirements of the other implementing rules ^ 4).
(3) preparing and freezing of products must be carried out promptly
using appropriate technical equipment, so that the chemical, biochemical and
microbiological changes were limited to the lowest possible level.
(4) the quick-frozen foodstuffs must be protected by suitable packaging ^ 5)
microbial or other external contamination and against drying out.
(5) the Freezer warehouses must be operated so as to maintain, when
the minimum air temperature fluctuations and its circulation, temperature in all
parts of the product minus 18 ° C or lower. Expression of freezer
temperature is given in annex 1.
(6) in the cold stores of less than 10 m3 intended for storing
stock in retail outlets, you can perform temperature measurements only
one easily visible thermometer which measures the temperature in the warmest
place of storage ^ 6).
(7) all handling of quick-frozen foodstuffs during storage
must be carried out under such conditions, so as not to raise the temperature
quick-frozen foodstuffs above minus 15 C.
(8) the collection of samples for measuring the temperature of quick-frozen foodstuffs and
custom temperature measurement is carried out in accordance with the relevant Czech
technical standard ^ 7).
(9) the Repackaging of quick-frozen foods should only be done for
controlled conditions ^ 8), and the temperature of the product during
repackaging must not be higher than minus 5 C.
(10) the tolerable negative weight deviations packaging of quick-frozen
foods listed in annex No. 2.
§ 5
Putting into circulation
(1) the quick-frozen foodstuffs shall be transported in means of transport,
that allow you to maintain the temperature of quick-frozen foodstuffs minus 18
° C or lower. During transport, the temperature of the product in the short term may
increase the maximum of minus 15 ° C.
(2) the Bulk of quick-frozen foodstuffs can be kept or offered for
sale in the freezer only separately so as to avoid their
mutual influence.
(3) any manipulation in the sale of quick-frozen foods must be
carried out under such conditions, so as not to raise the temperature of a deeply
frozen food above minus 15 degrees C.
§ 6
Transitional provision
Packaging manufactured before the entry into force of this decree can be used
until 30. June 13, 2007.
§ 7
Regulation (EEC)
Shall be repealed:
1. Ministry of agriculture Decree No 327/1997 Coll., implementing the
section 18 (a). a), (d)), j and k) of the Act) No 110/1997 Coll. on foodstuffs and
tobacco products and amending and supplementing certain related
laws for frozen food.
2. The Ministry of agriculture Decree No 44/2000 Coll., amending the
Decree of the Ministry of agriculture no. 326/1997 Coll., implementing section
18 (a). a), (d)), j and k) of the Act) No 110/1997 Coll. on foodstuffs and
tobacco products and amending and supplementing certain related
laws for frozen food.
3. The Ministry of agriculture Decree No. 163/2002 Coll., amending the
Decree of the Ministry of agriculture no. 326/1997 Coll., implementing section
18 (a). a), (d)), j and k) of the Act) No 110/1997 Coll. on foodstuffs and
tobacco products and amending and supplementing certain related
laws for frozen food, as amended by Decree No 44/2000 Sb.
§ 8
The effectiveness of the
This Decree shall enter into force on 1 January 2000. January 1, 2006.
