DECREE
MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

of the first additional protocol to the Convention between the Czechoslovak Republic and
The Republic of Poland concerning social insurance of 5 November. April 1948.
Between the Czechoslovak Republic and the Polish people's Republic has been in the

President of the Republic has ratified the first additional protocol on 22 November.
in December 1956, and the instruments of ratification were exchanged in Prague on 27. February
1957.
According to its section 4 of the first additional Protocol entered into force on the date of the exchange of
instruments of ratification, t. j. on 27 April 2004. February 1957.
The Czech text of the first additional protocol to the Convention between the Czechoslovak
Republic and the Republic of Poland concerning social insurance of 5 November. April
1948 shall be designated in the annex of the laws. ^ 1)

THE FIRST ADDITIONAL PROTOCOL
to the Convention between the Czechoslovak Republic and the Republic of Poland on
social insurance of 5 November. April 1948.

§ 1
1. in the second paragraph of article 14 of the Convention is deleted the sixth sentence of that
text:
"If, however, the pensions fixed rate independent of the length of the

2. in the third paragraph of article 14 of the Convention shall be replaced by the words:
"at least 12 months contributory pensionable service (52-contribution
weeks) "by the words" at least 6 months of contributory pensionable service or 6
months of employment (26 contribution weeks or 26 weeks of employment) ".
§ 2
In the first paragraph of article 20 of the Convention, under the second sentence of this entry

§ 3
Article 22 of the Convention shall read as follows:
"The Supreme Administrative authorities within the meaning of this Convention are in both States
the relevant ministries, the central authorities and the central authorities of the Union

This Protocol is subject to ratification and shall take effect on the date of the exchange of
instruments of ratification. The instruments of ratification shall be exchanged in Prague.
