GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 21 June 1999. April 2004
on the determination of some of the details and the conditions for the implementation of closer
measures common organisations of the market in beef and veal, pork,
poultry, mutton and goat meat, and eggs, and to provide special
subsidies on the export of beef and veal and for certain types of
boneless beef
The Government ordered pursuant to section 2b, paragraph 1. 2 and to implement section 2a of law No 249/1997
Coll., on agriculture, as amended by Act No. 128/2003 Coll., and to perform
Act No. 257/2000 Coll., on the State agricultural intervention fund, and
amendments to certain other laws (the law on the State farm
the intervention fund), as amended by Act No. 128/2003 Coll. and Act No.
85/2004 Coll.:
§ 1
The subject of the edit
This regulation lays down certain details and conditions for the implementation of
measures common organisations of the market in beef and veal, pork,
poultry, mutton and goat meat, and eggs, and to provide special
subsidies on the export of beef and veal and for certain types of

§ 2

§ 3

§ 5
The offer to tender for the intervention buying-in
The offer to tender for the intervention buying-in in accordance with the laws of the

§ 6

§ 7

§ 8
Market and price reports for beef

the products and their quantities; information is given for the thirteenth and
twenty-seventh calendar day in a calendar month, and always to the day

e) weekly prices paid to farmers for the supplied animals for slaughter
According to the classification of the carcases of animals for slaughter (SEUROP
standards) ^ 7) and degrees and the amount thereof; information is given
Fund for each calendar week always in next Monday,
(f)) the prices paid farmers for delivered animals and their
quantity; information is given to the Fund for each calendar month,
by the fifth day of the next calendar month.
(2) the information referred to in paragraph 1 (b). c) to (f)) about the prices serves
Fund as a weighted average of the prices without VAT.
(3) the information referred to in paragraph 1 shall be made to the Fund in a manner allowing
remote data transmission (hereinafter referred to as "electronically or by fax"), or
in documentary form.
(4) the information referred to in paragraph 1 shall be made on forms issued by the
Fund.
§ 9
Market and price reports for pigmeat
(1) a slaughterhouse, and intermediaries pursuant to the provisions of the European
community and special legal regulation ^ 8) provide the Fund
information about:
and resources stocks and) use the meat; information is given for each Fund
calendar month always before the 10th day of the following calendar
of the month
(b)), inventory, and distribution of the meat products; information is given
Fund for each calendar month to the 10th day of the following
calendar month,
(c)) the development of average prices of animals for slaughter and prices of selected species of meat and
the products and their quantities; information is given for each Fund
calendar month always before the 10th day of the following calendar
of the month
(d)) the prices paid farmers for delivered animals for slaughter, meat and
the products and their quantities; information is given for the thirteenth and
twenty-seventh calendar day in a calendar month, and always to the day
the following,
e) weekly prices paid to farmers for the supplied animals for slaughter

(f)) the prices paid farmers for delivered animals and their
quantity; information is given to the Fund for each calendar month,
by the fifth day of the next calendar month.
(2) the producer and the provider pursuant to the provisions of the European
community and special legal regulation ^ 6) provides a pool of
information about the prices of piglets and their quantity, for each calendar
week to Monday of the following week.
(3) the information referred to in paragraph 1 (b). c) to (f)) and pursuant to paragraph 2 of
the Fund serves as a price-weighted average of the prices without VAT.
(4) the information referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 shall be made to the Fund by electronic means, or
by telefax or in paper format.
(5) the information referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 shall be submitted on forms issued by the
Fund.
§ 10
Market and price reports on poultry and poultry meat and eggs
(1) the slaughterhouses and poultry plants on the basis of the provisions of the European
community and special legal regulation ^ 10) provide the Fund
information about:
and sold quantities of whole chicken) quality class and in kilograms, and
(b)) selling price in CZK per 1 kg whole chicken and quality class.
(2) the information referred to in paragraph 1 shall be made to the Fund for each calendar
week, and always to the Monday following the calendar week in the noon
hours.
(3) producers to provide information about the Fund:
a) sales prices of poultry for slaughter and for class 1 kg body weight in
CZK in the prices without VAT,
(b) the quantity sold poultry for slaughter) class and in pieces,
(c) the quantity sold poultry for slaughter) class and in kilograms.
(4) the information referred to in paragraph 3 shall be submitted to the Fund for each calendar
month, and always to the 20th day of the following calendar month.
(5) the Packers on the basis of the provisions of the European communities and of the Special
Law ^ 11) provide information about the Fund:
and sold quantities of eggs packed) broken down by weight category
M and L,
(b)) the sales prices of the packed eggs per 100 pieces in the prices without VAT in
breakdown by weight category, M, and L.
(6) the information referred to in paragraph 5 shall be submitted to the Fund for each calendar
week, and always to the Monday following the calendar week in the noon
hours.
(7) the information referred to in paragraphs 1, 3 and 5 shall be made to the Fund by electronic means
or fax or on paper.
(8) the information referred to in paragraphs 1, 3 and 5 shall be submitted on forms
issued by the Fund.
§ 11
Market and price reports for sheepmeat and goatmeat
(1) the slaughterhouse and providers based on specific legal
prescription ^ 11) provide information on the development of average prices of
price of selected species of animals and of meat and products and their quantities;
information is given to the Fund for each calendar month by the tenth
day of the next calendar month.
(2) the information referred to in paragraph 1 shall be submitted to the Fund prices as the weighted
average sales prices without VAT.
(3) the information referred to in paragraph 1 shall be made to the Fund by electronic means, or
by telefax or in paper format.
(4) the information referred to in paragraph 1 shall be made on forms issued by the
Fund.
§ 12
Granting special subsidies to exports
(1) an application for a certificate to a special subsidy on exports in accordance with the laws of the
