a long-term trade agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist
Republic and the Austrian Federal Government for the period from 1. January 1973 to
December 31, 1977
On 7 December. November 1972 in Vienna was signed long-term business
agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Austrian
the Federal Government for the period from 1. January 1973 to 31. December 1977.
According to article 6 of the Agreement entered into force on 1 January 2000. January 1973.
The Czech version of the agreement shall be published at the same time.

LONG-TERM TRADE AGREEMENT
between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Austrian

The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Austrian Federal Government
Desiring to promote and expand the exchange of goods between the two countries, in the
conformity with the General Agreement on tariffs and trade (GATT), whose members both
States are, starting from the favorable conditions for the development of mutual
trade on the basis of equality and mutual benefit have opted for
to this end, to negotiate a long-term adjustment to the exchange of goods and agreed to
purpose as follows:
Article 1
Both parties will adhere to the provisions of the mutual exchange of goods
General Agreement on tariffs and trade (GATT), as well as the provisions of this agreement.
Article 2
The two Contracting Parties shall endeavour to ensure that the other Contracting Party the free
access to the market. To achieve this, to take action in the area of your
import policy with a view to a permanent expansion of import options and

Article 3
Delivery of goods pursuant to this agreement will be carried out on the basis of contracts that

activities on the other side.
Article 4
The two Contracting Parties shall set up a Mixed Commission consisting of representatives of both
Governments. This Commission will have the task to examine the compliance with and implementation of the
made arrangements and on the basis of experience acquired, give suggestions to the
appropriate measures to improve economic relations between the two countries and to

Article 5
