The Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that on 5 December. June 1990
was negotiated in Copenhagen exchange of notes Agreement between the Government of the Czech and Slovak
The Federal Republic and the Government of Denmark on the abolition of visa requirements.
Agreement entered into force pursuant to article 7 on the day 15. June
1990.
Czechoslovak and Czech translations of Danish notes shall be published at the same time.

I have the honour to inform you that in order to facilitate travel between Denmark and the
The Czech and Slovak Federative Republic of Brazil, the Government of Denmark is ready
to conclude with the Government of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic agreement
the following conditions are true:
The agreement
between Denmark and the Czech and Slovak Federative Republic of Brazil on the abolition of visas
Article 1
Citizens of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, who are holders of
valid passport of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic may freely
enter into Denmark through the officially sanctioned border crossing and reside
in Denmark without a visa for a period not exceeding three months. This period of three months
is calculated from the date of entry into the territory of one of the Nordic countries, which is
Contracting Party to the Convention of 12 April 2005. July 1957 on the abandonment of the Passport
checks on the vnitroseverských border. Every stay in one of these
States during the six months preceding the entry into the territory of any of the
These States of neseverského State, being included in the said period

Article 2
Danish citizens who are holders of valid Danish passports, can freely
Enter the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic through any
officially approved by the border crossing and to reside in the Czech and Slovak
Federal Republic without a visa for a period not exceeding three months.
Article 3 of the

State concerning entry, stay-transitional or permanent-and
employment.
Article 4 of the
The authorities of both States reserve the right to refuse permission to enter and
stay in the country to citizens of the other State considered to be undesirable.
Article 5
The authorities of the two States undertake to adopt without formalities on its territory
each of its citizen.
Article 6 of the
Each of the two Governments may, for reasons of public order in whole or in part,
temporarily suspend the foregoing provisions with the exception of article 5. This
the suspension will be immediately notified to the other Government through the diplomatic channel.
Article 7 of the
This agreement shall enter into force on 15 December 2004. June 1990. Agreement may be
terminated by written notice to each of the Governments, and denunciation shall take
valid for one month after the date of notification.
