on the agreement on cultural and scientific cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak

Socialist Republic and the Government of the Kingdom of Jordan Hašemitského



3 December 2004. May 1978 in Amman was signed an agreement on cultural and scientific

cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government

Hašemitského Kingdom of Jordan. Agreement entered into force on

pursuant to article 12 on 3 June 2006. January 1979.

on cultural and scientific cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak

Socialist Republic and the Government of the Kingdom of Jordan Hašemitského



The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of Hašemitského

the Kingdom of Jordan,



Desiring to develop friendly relations and cooperation between the peoples of the two countries

in the field of science, education, culture and information, health, art, and

Sport,



considering that the recognition of the principles of sovereignty, national independence and

equal rights and benefits is in the mutual interest of their countries,



have decided to conclude this agreement:



Article 1



The Contracting Parties shall develop cooperation between scientific and research

institutions of both countries these forms:

Article 2



The Contracting Parties shall promote cooperation in the field of education by

Article 3



The Contracting Parties will examine options to ensure studies performed,

Article 4



The Contracting Parties shall promote cooperation in the field of literature,

Article 5



The Contracting Parties shall promote cooperation between museums, libraries, and

in other cultural institutions in the form of exchanges of books, publications and microfilm.



Article 6



The Contracting Parties shall promote cooperation in the field of archaeology and

protection of monuments, in particular in the form of archaeological expeditions and exchanges

workers from the scope of the protection of monuments, as well as publications.



Article 7



The Contracting Parties shall promote direct cooperation between the print

agencies, radio, film and television organizations both

countries, as well as visits of journalists, editors and staff of the film.



Article 8



Both sides will facilitate mutual inviting persons to congresses,

conferences, festivals and other events organised by the international character of the

the other countries in the fields of education, culture and the arts.



Article 9



Both sides will promote cooperation in the field of sport among the youth

of the two countries.



Article 10



Each Contracting Party shall ensure, in accordance with the applicable legislation

In order to facilitate the execution of this agreement the Contracting Parties shall enter into

cooperation programmes to the specific period of time, which shall include

agreed actions as well as their financial conditions.



Article 12



This agreement is subject to approval in accordance with the national regulations of each of the
