on the agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government
The Democratic Republic of Vietnam on cooperation in the field of health
On 30 November. December 1964 in Hanoi was the agreement signed between the Government of
The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Democratic
Republic on cooperation in the field of health.
According to article 11 of the agreement entered into force on 25 September 2004. June 1967.
The Czech version of the agreement shall be published at the same time.

between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the
Democratic Republic on cooperation in the field of health
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the
Democratic Republic, desiring to extend and consolidate the friendly
relations between the peoples of the two countries and deepen the cooperation and mutual assistance
in the field of health and medical science, have decided to conclude an agreement on the
cooperation in the field of health care, and to this end have designated as their
agents:

Article 1
The Contracting Parties shall encourage and develop cooperation and mutual
the exchange of experience in matters of health and medical sciences so as to

of the two countries.
Article 2
1. the Contracting Parties will exchange experiences on issues

Article 3

Article 4

Article 5
The competent authorities and institutions of the Contracting Parties shall cooperate in
teaching health professionals, in particular by
1. they will help students to the other Contracting Party could
study on the medical schools of their country;
2. they shall organize exchanges of doctors and other health workers
for the purpose of their specialisation and refresher courses;
3. will exchange teaching experience and teaching aids.
Article 6
The competent authorities and institutions of the Contracting Parties shall organize
mutual cooperation and exchange of experience between research institutes,
medical schools and other health establishments of the two countries.
Article 7
The competent authorities and institutions of the Contracting Parties shall provide citizens with the other
the contracting parties located in their territory with the necessary treatment when
a sudden illness.
Article 8
For the implementation of this agreement, the Ministry of health of both Contracting

Article 9
The costs associated with the implementation of this agreement, the Contracting Parties shall bear the

Article 10
Mutual statement of costs pursuant to article 9 of this agreement will be implemented
through the Czechoslovak State Bank and the Bank for international

Article 11

every five years, unless one of the Contracting Parties in writing
