on the agreement between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Austrian
Republic on the adjustment of the border crossing of railways
Modified: 3/1968 Coll.
On 22 November. September 1962 in Prague was signed agreement between the Czechoslovak
Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Austria on the adjustment of the frontier
the transition of the railways.
The agreement was ratified by the President of the Republic on 18 July 2005. March 1963 and
the instruments of ratification were exchanged in Vienna on 17. February 1964.
According to article 26, paragraph 1, the agreement entered on 2 February 2005. March 1964.
The Czech version of the agreement shall be published at the same time.

The AGREEMENT
between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Republic of Austria on the

The President of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Federal president

Article 1
General provisions
1. Both Contracting States shall undertake to allow border crossing railways.

Article 2
Determination of terms
Under this agreement the following terms shall be determined:

the legislation of the Contracting States for the entry, exit and transit of persons, baggage,
goods, valuables and mail.
Article 3
The border crossing

4. The railway authorities may agree that the individual with drive trains

Article 4
General provisions about connecting and transition service; tariff item

Article 5

Article 6

Article 7

Article 10
Use of language

Article 11
Legislation for railway employees

Article 12

Article 13

Article 14

Article 15

Article 16
Customs control and foreign exchange regulations

Article 17

Article 18
The crossing of State borders and residence on the territory of the other Contracting State

Article 19
Liability

Article 20
Exchange mail

Article 21

Article 24
Resolution of conflicts
1. The contradictions concerning the interpretation or application of this Agreement shall be resolved

Article 25
Duration of the agreement; notice of termination
