The Ministry of defence
of 5 April 2004. November 1999,
setting out the reasons for the granting of leave to soldiers from leaving the service
profession for barriers in the service and range of service leave

The Department of Defense establishes, pursuant to § 39 para. 5 of the Act No. 221/1999 Coll.,
the soldiers of the occupation:
§ 1
Barriers in the service of the general interest
(1) the barriers to service because of the general interest is deemed to be the performance of the
public function, civil duties and other tasks in the general interest.
(2) the exercise of public functions refers in particular to the performance of the obligations
arising from the function member of the municipal and regional authorities, if
in the performance of this function does not interrupt the service, "^ 1") or

(3) on the performance of civil obligations, in particular for witnesses, interpreters and
other persons summoned to the hearing by a court or other public authority
authority or the authority of the municipality, when providing first aid, mandatory medical

§ 2
Important personal barriers to service

Leave for important personal barriers to service
Leave for important personal barriers in the service shall be provided
a soldier in these cases and in this range:
1. the examination or treatment of a soldier in a medical facility

2. the birth of a child to his wife or companion of a soldier
Leave shall be granted on a strictly necessary period, not more than 1 day to
common-law wives or transported to the medical facility and a maximum of 1 day
to be transported back from the medical device.

calendar days, if during this time the need for treatment or care; in

to the end of compulsory schooling, leave shall be granted for a period of
the first 13 consecutive calendar days, if after this period of time
