On 15 December. July 1964 in Moscow was the agreement signed between the Governments of

The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, the Hungarian people's Republic and the

Polish people's Republic on the establishment of the Organization for cooperation in the metallurgy

iron and the Statute of the Organisation for cooperation in the metallurgy of iron

Intermetallu.



With that agreement and the Statute were in favour of the Government of the Czechoslovak

Government of the Hungarian people's Republic, the Polish people's Republic and the

being guided by the principles of the International Socialist Division of labour,



Desiring to ensure better meeting took the needs of

products of metallurgy of iron by using of new more efficient ways

cooperation and development of the rational utilisation of production capacities

of the parties and to increase technical and economic level of production,



starting from the fact that close cooperation based on equality, mutual

benefits and soudružské mutual assistance creates conditions for further development of the

production,



have decided to conclude this agreement:



Article. (I)



1. the Contracting Parties shall set up an organization for the coordination of this agreement

production and development and for cooperation in the metallurgy of iron with the name

Intermetall.



2. the registered office is Intermetallu in Budapest.



Article II



Intermetall develops its activity on the basis of this agreement and the Statute, which

is an integral part of the agreement.



Article. (III)



Intermetallu involves the coordination of production activities and the development and cooperation

in the area of the rolled material, steel tubes and in the agreed scope

even in the field of metallurgical druhovýrobků.



Article IV



The main tasks of Intermetallu are:



1. to draw up proposals on the specialisation of production of the steel industry, as well as

measures for the implementation of these proposals;



2. to draw up proposals for the coordination of detailed product structure

production plans of the steel industry of the parties;



3. develop a common methodology for the coordination of the quarterly

programming of the production and use of this methodology in the work of Intermetallu;



4. to draw up proposals for the unification of the standards and technical focus

conditions of supply and facilitate their implementation;



5. keep a register of investment plans, perform their analysis and

to draw up proposals for their coordination;



6. produce a uniform nomenclature of products of metallurgy of iron and

other equipment necessary for the work Intermetallu;



7. take steps to use temporarily free production capacity in the

Metallurgy of iron;



8. to facilitate the implementation and expansion of production deficit of product types

Metallurgy of iron;



9. organize the use of stocks of the products of the steel industry;



10. improve the principles and ways of the exchange of the products of the steel industry.

1. The work of the Intermetallu controls the Council. In the Council are represented by the Contracting Parties

delegations composed of three representatives, one of whom is the head of the

Article. (VII)

Article. (VIII)

Article. (IX)

Article. XI



Intermetallu official languages are the languages of the Contracting Parties. Work

Article. (XII)



This agreement requires approval by the Governments of all Contracting Parties and shall take

force the expiration of 30 days from the date of submission of the last document on the

approval of the agreement to the depositary, the depositary shall inform all Contracting

party.



Article. XIII



This agreement shall be deposited with the Government of the Hungarian people's Republic, which will be

Article. XIV

(I).



General provisions



1. The tasks of the Intermetallu are laid down in the agreement on the establishment of the Organization for

cooperation in metallurgy, signed in Moscow on 15 December. July

1964.



2. Intermetall performs its tasks with their authorities, namely the Council, Office

18. The annual budget of Intermetallu consists in particular of these cost
