on the agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government

The people's Republic of Hungary on cooperation in the field of tourism



On 22 November. June 1972 in Bratislava was the agreement signed between the Government of

The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Hungarian people's

Republic on cooperation in the field of tourism.



According to article 13 of the Agreement entered into force on 5 February 2000. February 1973.



The Slovak version of the agreement shall be published at the same time. ^ ^ *)

The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Hungarian people's

guided by efforts to deepen the friendly relations between their countries,

aiming to create the most favourable conditions for mutual recognition

achievements in the construction of socialism and communism, and mindful of the purpose is to promote

and to further expand mutual tourism, concluding this agreement:



Article 1



The Parties shall broaden and deepen cooperation in the field of

Tourism aimed at the improvement of the mutual knowledge of the life of the people

both States, their history, and of the results achieved in building

socialism.



Article 2



The Contracting Parties shall promote the all-round development of all forms of

tourism between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the

Hungarian people's Republic, and in particular



-organized and unorganized tourism



-tourism youth,



-tourism made by the competent authorities of trade unions,



-the thematic training excursions, including trips to congresses, symposia, exhibitions,

sporting events, music and theatre festivals,



-visits between enterprises, organizations, cities, counties, and the region on the basis of

friendship,



-routes of tourists from third countries into the Czechoslovak Socialist

Republic or of the Hungarian people's Republic through organisations

tourism.



Article 3



The Contracting Parties shall undertake further measures to simplify

border formalities connected with the transition border tourists of both States.



Article 4



The Contracting Parties shall take steps to continuously improve and

the expansion of transport links between the two countries, in particular



-regular and irregular air service,



-regular and special trains,



-seasonal bus and boat lines,



-favourable conditions for motorized tourists.



Article 5



The Contracting Parties shall encourage the development of close cooperation between top

the tourism authorities of the two States, as well as other authorities,

organizations and institutions involved in the development and implementation of

tourism.



Article 6



The parties will continue to expand cooperation in international

tourism organizations and exchange of experience

activities in this area.



Article 7



The Contracting Parties will take care of it, that the competent authorities and organisations

Tourism of both States to one another in a systematic exchange of

experience, data, information and other documentation relating to the

tourism.



Article 8



The Contracting Parties shall promote the exchange of experiences and meeting professional

staff of the various institutions and organizations of tourism, in particular

as regards the construction and modification of objects of tourism businesses

Tourism, scientific documentation, statistics. In order to prepare

cadres and raising their qualifications will promote the mutual exchange of

employees of research institutes, travel agencies, accommodation and

dining options.



Article 9



The Contracting Parties shall ensure that appropriate publicity, information and

recruitment by the action of improving citizens ' awareness about the possibilities of

travel to other States, which will contribute to the development of mutual

attendance.



Article 10



Each Contracting Party may establish on the territory of the other State information

the Centre of tourism. The establishment and activities of the centres,

their rights and obligations are governed by the law of the receiving

State.



Article 11



Remuneration for mutual tourism will be carried out in accordance with contractual arrangements

valid between the parties and in the manner agreed between the

Article 12



The competent authorities of the Contracting Parties will always be on certain time periods

Article 13



This agreement is subject to approval in accordance with national law

diplomatic notes on this approval, and will be valid for five years.
