on the agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism between the Czechoslovak
Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Cyprus
On 8 June 1998. May 1974 was in Nicosia signed a cooperation agreement in the
the field of tourism between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic
and the Republic of Cyprus, which, according to article 9 entry into force
on 7 February 2004. February 1975.

The AGREEMENT
on cooperation in the field of tourism between the Czechoslovak
Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Cyprus
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus
Desiring to further expand the friendly relations between the two countries on the
basis of equality and mutual benefits, and recognizing the importance of
Tourism
they agree on this:
Article 1
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus
they will pay particular attention to developing and expanding relations in the
the field of tourism between the two countries towards the improvement of the
mutual awareness of the life, history and culture of their peoples.
Article 2
The Contracting Parties shall in the framework of their applicable legislation
to facilitate the travel arrangements for the development of tourism between the
the two countries.
Article 3
The Contracting Parties shall pay special attention to the development of
tourism between the two countries, in particular in respect of organized and
unorganized tourism, theme cruises, visit support
congresses, symposia, exhibitions, sports events and music and theatre
festivals.
Article 4
The Contracting Parties in order to develop mutual tourism will be
to create conditions to ensure that their citizens are better informed about
How to travel in the other country, and in particular the appropriate promotional,
information and recruitment by the action, exchange of printed materials, films and exhibitions,
as well as the materials and films for radio and television broadcasting.
The above mutually exchanged materials will be exempt from customs
fees.
Article 5
The Contracting Parties shall encourage the development of constant close cooperation between
their authorities, organisations and institutions, participating in the development and
the implementation of tourism.
Article 6
The Contracting Parties will encourage the further development of their cooperation
the competent authorities in international organizations of tourism and
they will inform you about the experience in this area.
Article 7
The Contracting Parties shall ensure that the competent authorities and organisations both
States systematically share their experiences, information, information
and other documentation relating to the tourism industry.
Article 8
The competent authorities of the Contracting Parties may, as necessary, negotiate always on
certain time periods in which the protocols provide for the detailed form
the implementation of this agreement.
Article 9
This agreement is subject to approval by the national rules of the Contracting
Parties and shall enter into force on the day of exchange of notes confirming this
approval.
Article 10
This agreement is concluded for a period of five years and will be tacitly renewed
always for another year, unless one of the Contracting Parties denounces it in writing
six months before the expiration of the relevant period.
Given in Nicosia, Cyprus on 8 March. may, 1974, in two originals, each in the language
Czech and Greek, both texts being equally authentic.
