on the agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government
The people's Republic of Mozambique on scientific and technological cooperation
3 December 2004. July 1979 was in Maputo agreement signed between the Government of
The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the people's of Mozambique
Republic on scientific and technological cooperation. Agreement entered into force
According to article X on the day 5. July 1979.
English translation of the text of the agreement shall be published at the same time.

The AGREEMENT
between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of Mozambique
the people's Republic on scientific and technological cooperation
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the people's of Mozambique
Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the Contracting Party), desiring to further develop
mutual scientific and technical cooperation with a view to consolidating friendly
relations and promote economic ties between the two countries have agreed
as follows:
Article. (I)
The two Contracting Parties shall cooperate in matters of scientific and
technical in order to most effectively use the latest science results
and technology for the economic development of both countries.
Article II
Cooperation between the Contracting Parties, as defined in article I of this agreement,
will consist of:
and) the provision of experts, consultants, medical staff, as well as
equipment and supplies within the framework of this agreement;
(b)) the Organization of theoretical and practical training of members of both
of the Contracting Parties. The beneficiary country shall provide vocational training or
same level as the specialization provides trainees and professionals
of any third country, taking into account the degree of qualification of trainees
and experts;
(c)) cooperation in any other form of scientific and technological activities, which
will be mutually agreed upon.
Article. (III)
Scope and modalities of cooperation, including scientific and technical levels, as well as
the method of remuneration will be agreed upon between the competent Czechoslovak
organizations eligible under Czechoslovak law and authorized
Government organizations, people's Republic of Mozambique.
Article IV
Each Party shall provide to the citizens of the other party posted on
its territory on the basis of this agreement, all the necessary assistance in accordance with the
laws and regulations applicable in each country.
Article. In
Each Contracting Party shall ensure that the experts of the other party
the execution of his duties pursuant to this agreement on its territory the same

Čl.VI
All persons performing their duties on the territory of the other Contracting Party in accordance with

carrying out their duties and shall refrain from any intervention in other matters.
Article. (VII)
Each Contracting Party undertakes that specific knowledge gained in
connection with the performance of this agreement will not be disclosed to a third party without
the prior consent of the other party.
Article. (VIII)
The provisions of this Agreement shall not apply to the experts, technicians,
officials and other persons performing their duties on the territory of one of
of the parties on the basis of individual contracts for the supply of goods or
the provision of services related to the supply of the goods.
Article. (IX)
The two Contracting Parties shall, at the specific request of one of them, consult the
the other in any matter relating to the performance of this agreement.
Article. X
This agreement is subject to approval in accordance with the legal editing of each
the Contracting Parties and shall enter into force on the day of exchange of notes confirming this
approval.
This agreement shall remain in force for three years and will then be tacitly renewed
for a period of one year, unless one of the parties ends it
testimony submitted three months before the expiry of the said force.
