on the agreement on cultural and scientific cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak
Socialist Republic and the Government of the people's Republic of Mozambické
In Prague on 26 April. November 1980 was signed an agreement on cultural and
scientific cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the
the Government of the people's Republic of Mozambické. According to article 12 of the Agreement came into
force on 25 September 2004. July 1981.
The Slovak version of the agreement shall be published at the same time. ^ ^ *)

The agreement
on cultural and scientific cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak
Socialist Republic and the Government of the people's Republic of Mozambické
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the people's Mozambické
Republic,
Desiring to strengthen mutual contacts and develop cooperation in the field of
education, culture, science, art, sport and health,
convinced that such cooperation, based on the principles of mutual
respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity, equality, non-intervention
in the internal affairs of both States and mutual advantage, will contribute to
deepening the friendly relations between the two countries and their peoples,
have decided to conclude this agreement:
Article 1
The Contracting Parties shall promote cooperation in the areas of education,
culture, science, art, sport and physical education, information and
the health sector.
Article 2
The Contracting Parties shall encourage cooperation and the exchange of information and
experiences between educational, cultural, medical, scientific and
art institutions of their countries, and in particular:
-umožňováním of mutual visits by university professors and teachers from
Professional and scientific institutions,
-organising exhibitions in their own countries,
-the organisation of concerts, theatrical performances and other arts
events representing the culture of the people of both countries,
-translation and granting of literary and scientific works,
-the exchange of books and other publications from the fields of culture, science and art,
-the exchange of information about life in both countries, for the purpose of
exploring the experience of the people of both countries,
-Exchange of experts from the fields of education, culture, health and science,
-Exchange and marketing of films on a commercial and non-commercial basis.
Article 3
The Contracting Parties shall ensure that, in the textbooks and school curricula
to deliver objective information about the life and progress of the people of both
countries.
Article 4
Each Contracting Party shall, in accordance with their capabilities, will provide
scholarships to students and postgraduantům the other party for the study
at their universities or other educational institutions.
Article 5
The Contracting Parties shall examine the conditions to ensure the equivalence of
report cards, diplomas, exams and titles gained in training
the establishments of both countries. These terms will be governed by a specific agreement.
Article 6
The Contracting Parties shall provide, in accordance with the regulations in their countries
access to the historical archives, libraries, museums and galleries.
Article 7
Each Contracting Party will be facilitating the participation of the delegations of the other Contracting
party at congresses, festivals and other events with international
participation, organized on its territory.
Article 8
The Contracting Parties shall encourage cooperation between agencies
and radio and television organizations of their countries.
Article 9
The Contracting Parties shall promote cooperation in the field of sport and between
youth organisations of both countries.
Article 10
Each Contracting Party shall establish, in accordance with the applicable national
regulations, the necessary conditions for nationals of the other party,
posted under this agreement.
Nationals of the sending State shall be required to comply with national
regulations of the receiving State.
Article 11
For the purposes of execution of this agreement the Contracting Parties shall conclude the implementation of the
programs on a two-year or three-year period, which will include the
the agreed actions and funding conditions.
Article 12
This agreement is subject to approval from the parties in accordance with laws and regulations
every State and shall enter into force on the date of exchange of the instruments of approval of the Act.
This agreement is concluded for a period of five years, will increase the
the period of the next five years unless one side notifies the other
at least six months before the expiry of any current period

Done in Prague on 26 April. November 1980 in two copies in the language
Slovak and Portuguese, both texts being equally authentic.
