GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 29 April 2004. August 2001,
fixing the enumeration of things intended for conversion from gratis
the ownership of the Czech Republic to the ownership of the Jewish communities in the Czech
Republic in order to mitigate certain property-related injustices caused by
the Holocaust and the procedure for their transfer
The Government ordered pursuant to section 2 para. 2 Act No. 211/2000 Coll. on the mitigation of
certain property injustices caused by the Holocaust and on the amendment of Act No.
243/1992 to regulate certain issues relating to act
No. 229/1991 regulating ownership of land and other
agricultural property as amended by Act No. 93/1992 Coll., as amended by
amended:
§ 1
On free transfer to the ownership of the Jewish communities in the Czech Republic
(hereinafter referred to as "Jewish legal person") are intended for the matters referred to in
the annex to this regulation.
§ 2
(1) proposal for the conclusion of a deed for the Czech Republic shall draw up
the one who with the things listed in the annex to this regulation, managed by
a special legal regulation, (hereinafter referred to as "the applicant").
(2) the applicant shall be obliged to proposal for the conclusion of a written contract of gift
send the relevant Jewish legal entity, that should be the case in the
accordance with the annex to this regulation are converted, and at the latest within 3
months from the date of entry into force of this regulation.
§ 3
This Regulation shall enter into force on the first day of the second calendar month
following the date of its publication.
