on the agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government
The Syrian Arab Republic on cooperation in the field of tourism
Day 8. April 1988 in Prague was the agreement signed between the Government of
The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Syrian Arab
Republic on cooperation in the field of tourism. The agreement entered into
force on the basis of its article 6 on 30 April 2005. July 1988.
The Czech version of the agreement shall be published at the same time.

The AGREEMENT
between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Syrian
Arab Republic on cooperation in the field of tourism
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Syrian Arab
Republic (hereinafter referred to as "the Contracting Parties"),
Desiring to establish closer cooperation in the field of tourism and
Recognizing the importance of tourism not only for the development of the economy
the two States, but also for the further development of friendly relations,
have agreed as follows:
Article 1
The Contracting Parties shall take all the necessary steps to promote and develop
the tourist exchange between the two countries, to this end, the Parties shall:

resources to the development of travel between the two countries.
Article 2
For the purpose of exchanging experiences and developing methods of tourism contract

Article 3

Direct and indirect services provided to the Czechoslovak tourists, including
other charges will be paid from unpaid Czechoslovak
claims arising from loans granted to Syrian organizations

Republic will specify these services on the basis of specific agreements
between the competent organizations of the tourism industry of both States.

Article 5
The representatives of both Contracting Parties will meet to assess the

to the competent authorities.

Article 6
This agreement is subject to approval in accordance with the legislation of each of the
