on the agreement on cultural cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist

the Republic and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco



On 19 December. January 1979 in Rabat was signed the agreement on cultural cooperation

between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of Morocco

the Kingdom. Agreement entered into force, pursuant to article 8, the date of

December 7, 1979.



English translation of the text of the agreement shall be published at the same time.

the Republic and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco



The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of Morocco

the Kingdom of



-Desiring to develop cooperation in the field of culture, education and science

between the two countries,



-convinced that such cooperation will contribute to the strengthening of the mutual

relationships,



have agreed upon the following provisions:



Article 1



The Contracting Parties shall promote in particular exchanges:



and scientists, professors), students and trainees;



b) artists, art files, personalities of the cultural world, exhibitions

Arts and crafts, exhibitions of art, as well as other exhibitions of scientific and

informational nature;



(c)) of books and other publications from those areas that are the subject of this

the agreement;



d) athletes and sports teams.



Article 2



The Contracting Parties shall conclude a special agreement concerning the mutual recognition of

diplomas, degrees and ranks schools issued by both sides.



Article 3



Each Contracting Party shall indicate in its curriculum and

textbooks objective information on the other side.



Article 4



Each Contracting Party shall grant the nationals of the other party

scholarships to study or internship for the purpose of their study at national

educational and research establishments in compliance with the internal rules of the

device.



Article 5



The two sides will promote cooperation between their radio,

tv, film and print organizations. To this end,

the exchange of film and information programs, as well as other

documentation in order to contribute to better mutual cognition of both countries.



Article 6



Each of the parties will support the translation and publishing

the most important national works the other side of the field of science, literature

and the arts.



Article 7



For the purpose of implementing this agreement, the Contracting Parties shall agree on a detailed

programs.



Article 8



This agreement will be subject to approval in accordance with the constitutional procedures

in force in each of the two countries.



Shall enter into force as soon as both sides will register with each other

the fulfilment of the constitutional formalities.



This agreement is concluded for a period of five years and shall be automatically renewed

on the next five-year period, unless one of the Contracting Parties denounces it in

a period of 6 months prior to the expiry of its validity.



In the event of termination of this agreement, the persons falling within the framework of the agreement

enjoy their benefits until the end of the calendar year, and

the grant holders, up to the end of their studies.
