on the issue of gold coins "Renaissance-chateau in Litomyšl" after 2 000 CZK
The Czech National Bank establishes, pursuant to section 22 (b). and) Act No. 6/1993 Coll., on the
The Czech National Bank:
§ 1
(1) on 25 September 2004. September 2002, within the framework of the cycle "ten centuries of architecture"
issued gold coins "Renaissance-chateau in Litomyšl" after 2 000 CZK (
"the coin").
(2) the coins to be issued in the current implementation, and in the specific implementation of the specified
for collecting purposes with a polished and matte relief coin box (
"special version").
(3) a coin made of gold of fineness of 999.9. The weight of the coins is 6.22 g
its 20 mm diameter and thickness 1.4 mm. The edge of the coin in the current implementation is
milled, edge of the coin in the specific implementation is smooth. During the excavation
coins in the ordinary and special design is the tolerance in diameter 0.1
mm and in the power of 0.15 mm. Weight is permitted deviation 0.062 g and up
in the purity of gold up 0.01% deviation.
§ 2
(1) on the front of it is in the top half of the coin free composition
stylized heraldic animals of a large coat of arms of the Czech
of the Republic. Czech lion is halfway between the Moravian Eagle (right) and
Silesian Eagle (left) and is located higher than both of the Eagle. Under composition
heraldic animal is the name of the State, "CZECH REPUBLIC". Name the cycle
"TEN CENTURIES of ARCHITECTURE" while a copy when the left and right
the edge of the coin. Under the name of the State is in the lower half of the coin depicted a theme
mermaids of the figural Sgraffito façade of Litomyšl. When

Mint, the coin was coined, is placed in the top half of the coin under the
Czech lion.
(2) on the reverse side of the Chateau in Litomyšl is shown from above. To the right
from the castle is at the top of the coin is placed in a Buffalo head with houžví
nostrils, character of the genus of Pernstein. When the left, top and right sides of the coin
It is a copy of the unsealed "RENAISSANCE LITOMYŠL Castle" and the year "2002",
indicate the year of mintage. The year separates from the word "LOCK" period. When
the bottom of the coins is displayed on a stone ball of gryf Sgraffito from
facade of Litomyšl. Griffin partially overlaps the depictions of the Castle.
The author of the design of the coin is an academic sculptor Jiří Wreath. The initials of his
the name consisting of the letters "jv" United are located at the bottom left
the edge of the coin below the left front's claw and a Griffin.
§ 3
This Decree shall take effect on the date of 15. September 2002.
