Dated March 10, 2008

Declaring National Natural Landmarks Blanice spring area and determine their further
protective conditions

Ministry of the Environment, pursuant to § 79 par. 3 point. b)
Act no. 114/1992 Coll., on nature and landscape protection, as amended by Act no. 218/2004 Coll .:


§ 1
Subject Matter


(1) declares a National Natural Landmark The spring Blanice (hereinafter
"national natural monument").

(2) The protection of national natural monument habitat and population
freshwater pearl mussel (Margaritifera margaritifera), especially early developmental stages
this critically endangered species in the springs of the river Blanice with
wetlands and Spring vegetation and an extensive hydrographic network
shallow headwater streamlets.

§ 2

Defining national natural monuments

National Natural Monument is located on the South Bohemian Region, the cadastral area
Křišťanov, Spalenec and Upper Snowy.
Boundaries of national natural monuments shall be closed geometrical figure with straight sides
whose vertices are the co-ordinates given in a single
trigonometric cadastral network ^ 1). Lists of coordinates
closed geometric figures and their individual peaks arranged so as
go in patterns behind, they are contained in Annex no. 1 to this decree
. Indicative graphical representation of the territory of the national natural monument
is contained in Annex no. 3 hereto.

§ 3

Further protective conditions

Just consent of the nature protection body may be in the national natural monument


A) make changes to the type of land or of its use ^ 2)

B) make adjustments to surface roads with the use of non
local natural materials of the same geological origin and chemical composition
,

C) supplementary feeding of animals,

D) establish salt marshes.

Competent nature conservation authority does not issue approval if
activities referred to in subparagraphs a) to d) there is a deterioration of surface water
that is necessary to maintain to maintain populations of freshwater pearl mussel.
Indicators of the quality of surface water and the values ​​determining the state
surface water, which is needed to keep the population maintenance
freshwater pearl mussels, are listed in Annex no. 4 hereto.

§ 4


Protective zone
Protective zone of the national natural monument covers an area
South Bohemia in cadastral Upper Snowy.
Frontier buffer zone national natural monument down separate
closed geometrical figure with straight sides whose vertices are determined
ordinates given in a single trigonometric cadastral network
^ 1). The list of coordinates closed geometric figure and its
individual vertices arranged as they go in a pattern
behind him, is contained in Annex no. 2 hereto.
Indicative graphical representation of territory protection zone national natural landmark
is contained in Annex no. 3 hereto.

§ 5

This Decree shall take effect on 1 April 2008.
