The COMMUNICATION FROM the

Ministry of Foreign Affairs declares that on 11 July. February 1994 was in
Prague signed a Protocol on cooperation between the Ministry of industry and
trade of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of external economic relations
The Republic Of Tajikistan.
Protocol entered into force, pursuant to article 4, paragraph 2. 1 day 11.
February 1994.
The Czech text of the Protocol shall be published at the same time. In the Russian text, which is
for its interpretation of the applicable, can be consulted at the Ministry of foreign
Affairs and the Ministry of industry and trade.

on cooperation between the Ministry of industry and trade of the Czech Republic and
The Ministry of external economic relations of the Republic of Tajikistan
The Ministry of industry and trade of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of external
economic relations of the Republic of Tajikistan, hereinafter referred to as the parties,
the interests of the further development of economic cooperation and increase mutual turnover
goods and services provided, have agreed, in accordance with the Agreement
between the Government of the United Kingdom and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on commercial
economic relations and cooperation in the field of science and technology "
to the following:
Article 1
The parties consider the most important direction of joint activities development
suggestions for questions from the perspective of a bilateral economic and business
cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan.
To this end, the parties at the same time with the development of forward planning and programs
the development of the economies of the two countries will develop proposals of fundamental
guidelines of the foreign economic cooperation between the Czech Republic and
The Republic of Tajikistan on the level of individual sectors and areas
industrial production and trade.
To achieve these objectives, the parties agree that they will perform
regular consultations about the course of economic transformation, carried out in the
both countries, about the changes in legal systems in the field of economy as well as on
issues of development and implementation of individual programmes and projects,
that are of mutual interest.
Article 2
The parties will mutually assist in the solution of current issues
associated with the expansion of mutual trade and economic cooperation.
When drawing up the import and export forecasts for the coming year, the parties
will exchange proposals on priority needs of mutual supply of goods and
the provision of services.
The parties will assist in creating the necessary conditions for
the realization of mutual supply, in particular the priority types of goods, in
accordance with the laws in force in each country.
The parties will work on the proposals on perfecting the mechanism of settlement
and the payment for the delivery of goods, ensuring the increasing mutual exchanges
of the goods.
Article 3
The parties agree to carry out, if necessary, meetings of experts
and other representatives of both sides by inviting specialists of the respective
ministries, resorts and banks to assess the status and perspectives
bilateral economic relations, including the priority of supply,
elaboration of specific programs and projects of cooperation and also for the
reconciliation proposals to improve the conditions and forms of economic
cooperation and mutual trade.
Article 4
This Protocol shall come into force on the date of its signature.
This Protocol is concluded for an indefinite period. Each of the parties may, however,
Protocol terminated, with the force of the Protocol will expire three
months from the date of notice of termination to the other party.
Given in Prague 11. February 1994 in two original copies, in the Czech,
Tajik and Russian languages, all texts being equally authentic.
In the event that a different interpretation of the text of this Protocol will be taken
as a basis the text in Russian language.
