of 8 June. in December 1993, which regulates the status of cultural change

funds and amending Act No. 35/1965 Coll., on literary, scientific works and

works (the Copyright Act), as amended by law No 89/1990 Coll. and Act No.

468/1991.



PART THE FIRST



Change the position of the cultural funds



§ 1



(1) the Czech literary Fund shall cease on the date on which the Foundation arises by

established by a special Act. ^ 1)



(2) the Czech music Fund expires on the date on which the Foundation arises by

established by a special Act. ^ 1)



(3) the Czech fine arts Fund expires on the date on which the Foundation arises

§ 2

§ 3



The transfer of the undertakings of the cultural funds

Amendment to Act No. 35/1965 Coll., on literary, scientific works and

works (the Copyright Act), as amended



§ 4



Act No. 35/1965 Coll., on the works of literary, scientific and artistic

(the Copyright Act), as amended by law No 89/1990 Coll. and Act No. 468/1991

Coll., is hereby amended as follows:



1. section 1 is deleted.



2. In article 35, paragraph 3 is deleted.



3. section 40 and 41 are deleted.



4. sections 42 and 43 are deleted.



5. In article 44, paragraph. 1, point (b) deleted).



PART THE THIRD



Transitional and final provisions



§ 5



Regulation of the Government of the Czech Socialist Republic No. 159/1969

On the cultural funds, contributions from the beneficiaries of the royalty and

the remuneration of performers, cultural funds, contributions for the use of free

works of literary, scientific and artistic works, and the contributions of the users,

as amended by regulation of the Government of the Czech Socialist Republic No. 20/1973 Coll.,

Regulation of the Government of the Czech Republic No. 342/1991 Coll. and regulation of the Government of the Czech

No. 58/1993 Coll., with the exception of article. I, points 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6, which

shall be repealed on 1 January 2000. January 1, 1995.



§ 6



This law shall enter into force on 1 January 2005. in January 1994, with the exception of section 4, paragraph 3,

which shall take effect on 1 January 2005. January 1, 1995.
