the Kingdom of
-Desiring to further development and strengthening of their mutual economic relations and
the promotion of cooperation in all areas of economic life, in particular the
cooperation in industry, agriculture and trade, with a view to ensuring
the dynamic development of economic cooperation on a long-term and balanced
basis,
-having regard to the objectives stated in the agreement on economic, industrial and
technical cooperation between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic
and the Government of the Kingdom of Denmark, concluded on 9 April. November 1970
-with reference to the final act of the Conference on security and cooperation in
Europe, signed in Helsinki 1. August 1975 and with reference to the final
the document of the Madrid meeting of the States Parties Conference on security
and cooperation in Europe,
-with full recognition of their important international obligations of both parties, in
mutual trade
have decided to conclude the following long-term programme of development of the economic,
industrial and technical cooperation, and are convinced that the implementation of this
the plan will help to achieve a higher level of mutual economic cooperation.
Article. (I)
Principles of cooperation
1. the two parties shall, within their capabilities, to promote favorable conditions
for the expansion of economic cooperation on a long-term and balanced
basis with a view to substantially increase trade between the two countries. For

their economic potentials, modern techniques, technologies, and

organizations in both countries. They will also support activities aimed at

specialised exhibitions, specialized symposia, technical days and
similar actions.
Article II
Forms of cooperation
1. the two parties shall promote joint action in the field of production of goods and
cooperation, bilaterally as well as on third markets in order to achieve
the dynamic development of its trade and economic cooperation.
To this end, the parties, within their capabilities to support the
all appropriate forms of cooperation with special emphasis on the following
activity:
-cooperation in the production of machinery and equipment, machinery and marketing

areas of the Danish economic life.
Article. (III)
Areas of cooperation
1. Taking into account the structure of the economies of the two countries and to the programs

the trade and economic cooperation in the first place, to focus
in the area of industrial production and agriculture.
2. The list of items of this cooperation is specified in the annex to this

Article IV
The performance of
1. implementation of this long-term programme will be monitored a Mixed Commission
set up in accordance with article 2 of the agreement between the Czechoslovak
Socialist Republic of Romania and the Kingdom of Denmark on the economic,
industrial and technical cooperation, signed on 9 April. November 1970.
2. The Joint Commission will oversee it, to the long-term program was
formulated and developed in accordance with the needs of the national economy both

-to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the long-term programme
-to promote agreement between the firms, organisations and companies in both countries
and will identify and propose additional options for cooperation.
Article. In
Entry into force and duration
1. this long-term programme will be implemented provisionally from the date of the signing and
shall enter into force when the parties exchange the notes confirming that
