of 23 December 2003. February 2015,
amending the Decree of the Ministry of transport and communications No. 31/2001 Coll., on the
driving licences and the register of drivers, as amended
The Department of transportation shall determine pursuant to § 137 para. 2 Act No. 361/2000
Coll. on road safety and on changes of some acts
(road traffic law), as amended by law No 411/2005 Coll., Act No.
226/2006 Coll., Act No. 274/2008 Coll., Act No. 133/2007 Coll., Act No.
297/2010 Coll., Act No. 230/2014 Coll. and Act No. 249/2014 Sb:
Article. (I)
Decree of the Ministry of transport and communications No. 31/2001 Coll., on driving
licences and on the register of drivers, as amended by Decree No 154/2003 Coll.
Decree No. 177/2004 Coll., Decree No. 194/2006 Coll., Decree No. 27/2012
Coll., Decree No. 243/2012 Coll. and Decree No. 1/2014 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In the introductory sentence of the Decree, the words "§ 115 paragraph. 8 and § 122 para. 2 "
replaced by the words "§ 115 paragraph. 8, § 122 para. 2 and article 125j para. 3. "
2. sections 2 and 3, including the following titles:
"§ 2
International driver's license issued by the Czech Republic
(1) the model of the international driving licence issued by the Czech Republic is
set out in annex 2 of this order. Data to international
the licence shall be entered in a manner pursuant to the Convention on road traffic
(Vienna, 1968).
(2) the model of the international driving licence issued by the Czech Republic is
set out in annex 3 of this order. Data to international
the licence shall be entered in a manner pursuant to the Convention on road traffic
(Geneva, 1949).
§ 3
International driver's license issued by a foreign State
(1) the international driver's license issued by a foreign State under the provisions of the Convention on
road traffic (Vienna 1968) shall be assessed according to annex No. 7 of this

(2) the international driver's license issued by a foreign State under the provisions of the Convention on
road traffic (Geneva, 1949) shall be assessed according to annex 10 of this
Convention. ".
3. sections 4 and 5, including the headings are deleted.
4. In article 6 (1). 1, the words "or in accordance with § 5" are deleted.
5. In article 6 (1). 2, the words "and" shall be deleted.
6. section 7, including the title reads as follows:

(1) the details driving licence issued by a foreign State under the provisions of the Convention on
road traffic (Vienna 1968) shall be assessed in accordance with annex 6 to this

road traffic (Geneva, 1949) shall be assessed according to annex No 9 of this
Convention. ".
7. § 8, including the title.
8. in section 18a of the new section 18b is inserted after that, including the title and notes
line 3 reads:
"§ 18b
