amending the Act No. 101/2001 Coll., on the return of illegally exported

cultural goods



Parliament has passed the following Act of the United States:



Article. (I)



Law No. 101/2001 Coll., on the return of illegally exported cultural

goods shall be amended as follows:



1. In paragraph 1, the word "establishes" the words "in accordance with the law

Of the European Communities ' ^ 1 ') ".



Footnote. ^ 1) reads as follows:



"1) of Council Directive No 93/7/EEC on the return of cultural objects unlawfully

exported from the territory of a Member State, as amended by the directive of the European

Parliament and Council Directive 96/100/EC and the directive of the European Parliament and of the Council

2001/38/EC ".



Former footnote No. 1) to (5)) are known as notes under

line no. 2) to 6) and the former footnote No. 6) up to 8)

renumbered as footnote # 8)-10), including links to

the footnote.



2. In article 2 (2). 4, after the words "dealing with him," the words "or in the

contrary to the regulation of the European communities, ^ 7) ".



Footnote. ^ 7) reads as follows:



"7) of Council Regulation No 3911/92/EEC on the export of cultural goods, as amended by

Council Regulation No 2469/96/EC, and Council Regulation No 947/01/EC ".



3. In annex 1 sections 1, 2, 9 and 12, the words "EUR 0.0" shall be replaced by

the words "regardless of the price."



4. In annex 1, point 3, the words "under points 4 and 5" are replaced by the words "in

the categories listed in paragraphs 4 and 5 ".



5. In annex 1, paragraph 5, the words "category 1 or 2" shall be replaced by

"the categories referred to in paragraphs 1 or 2."



6. In annex 1, point 7, the words "under paragraph 1" are replaced by the words "to

the categories referred to in paragraph 1 ".



7. in annex No. 1 of paragraph 16, the words "category 1-15" shall be replaced by

"the categories referred to in paragraphs 1 to 15".



8. In annex 1, the last sentence is replaced by the phrases "cultural goods

pursuant to this annex are the things that are included in the categories referred to in points

3 to 8, 10, 11 and 13 to 16 if their price reaches at least referred to

financial limit, and things that are included in the categories referred to in

points 1, 2, 9 and 12 always, regardless of the price. Compliance with the conditions

concerning financial limits should be assessed when applying for

find a cultural object. In the Czech Republic are the prices listed in euro

in this annex shall be converted and expressed in CZK according to the

the exchange rate of 31. December 2003, published in the official journal of the

Of the European communities. The converted price in Czech crowns from the date

Article II



This Act shall take effect on the date of the Treaty of accession of the Czech

Republic to the European Union enters into force.
