DECREE
Minister of industry, trade and crafts
of 20 December. April 1936
on the prohibition of the use of national characters, and official puncovních tags
The Swiss Confederation and the cantons to public characters of its labelling
goods in economic relations.
Pursuant to section 4 (c)) of the Act of 6 May 1999. in January 1890, no. 19., on the protection of
marks, as amended by the law of 20 December 2002. , 1932, no. 27 Coll. and n. from
in 1933, I quote this sign of the Swiss Confederation and its
the cantons, which are to be involved in protection under § § 4) and 4 (b)) of that
the law:
1. The Swiss Confederation coat of arms (in a red shield free white
Cross);
2. the characters twenty-six cantons;
3. the official hallmarks for gold, silver and Platinum items that
are introduced in the Swiss Confederation, for goods of the Platinum, gold and
Silver, for the goods of lower purity of gold, for the doublé and imitation.
The representation of these signs are publicly accessible in a central archive
trade marks of the Ministry of industry, trade and craft trades, where when
images of official puncovních tags is specifically referred to the metal, for
that is, the brand introduced.
Because in relation to the Swiss Confederation, is the assumption of the Interstate
contracts within the meaning of paragraph 4 (c)). the Act applies to the met, referred to
cizozemská signs and their representation of the provisions of § § 4) and 4 (b))
of the Act on the prohibition of the use of them to mark the goods in the
economic relations.
