for the implementation of Act No. 257/2001 Coll. on libraries and conditions
the public library and information services (library
the law)
The Ministry of culture shall establish under section 22 of Act No. 257/2001 Coll., on the
libraries and the conditions of operation of the public library and
information services (the Library Act), (hereinafter referred to as the "Act") and to perform
§ 14 para. 6 and § 16 para. 7 of the Act:
§ 1
The subject of the edit
This Decree lays down the requirements for an application for mediation library
the document, and specifies who the operators are obliged to transmit to the libraries
request for mediation library document in the framework of interlibrary
services to foreign libraries, as appropriate, provide to the operator
libraries participating in the international interlibrary services methodological help.
The Decree further provides details about the library collection and record keeping
the elements of the outcome of the revision process.
§ 2
Requirements for an application for mediation library document
(1) the request for mediation library document shall be filed in writing,
where appropriate, electronic form and contains
a) data which identify the library of a document, for example. the name,
the designation of the author, name, place and year of publication, order number
library document in international registration systems,
(b)) data which identify the requesting library, such as its
the name and address, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address,
c) information allowing identification of the requested library
(d)) requirements for the way the mediation document library
(e)) the period within which the request should be processed.
(2) the request for mediation library document that does not have the character of a
printed matter, contains in addition to the data referred to in paragraph 1 shall be also
the technical specification document library.
§ 3
The determination of operators to ensure international interlibrary lending libraries
services

the operators of the libraries participating in the international interlibrary services

Details about the keeping of the library collection
§ 4

§ 6

§ 7
The particulars of the entry of the result of the revision of the library collection

§ 8
Regulation (EEC)

§ 9
The effectiveness of the
