clutch.

Preconditioning of the vehicle:

1. vehicles may be tested without preconditioning although for

for security reasons, you should verify that the engine is

warm and in a satisfactory mechanical condition.

2. requirements for stabilization:

I) engine shall be fully operating temperature, for example,

the engine oil temperature measured by a probe in the dipstick tube

the oil level must be at least 80 ° c, or must have

normal operating value, if lower, or the temperature of the

the block of the engine measured by the level of infrared radiation

must have at least an equivalent temperature. If this

measurement is not feasible because of the configuration of the

the vehicle, you may specify the normal operating engine temperature

in a different way, for example, of the activities of the cooling

the motor fan.

II) exhaust system shall be purged by at least three cycles

free acceleration, or equivalent

Test procedure:

1. before the start of each free acceleration cycle, must have

the engine and, where appropriate, supercharging a turbocharger idling

speed. For diesel engines of heavy vehicles it means

It is necessary to wait for least 10 seconds after you release the pedal

the accelerator.

2. to initiate each free acceleration cycle, must be

the accelerator pedal fully depressed quickly and continuously

(in less than one second) but not violently, so

to obtain maximum delivery from the injection pump.

3. during each free acceleration cycle, the engine shall reach

cut-off speed or, for vehicles with

automatic transmissions, the speed specified by the manufacturer,

or if this data is not available then two thirds of the

the cut off speed, before the throttle is released.

This could be checked, for example, by monitoring engine speed

or so that the accelerator pedal začátkusešlapování

his release leaves a sufficient time to elapse. For vehicles

categories M2, M3, N2 or N3 should be at least

two seconds.

4. The test shall be assessed as non-compliant only if

If the arithmetic mean of the last four cycles

free acceleration přesahujemezní value. This value

may be calculated by ignoring any values that are

significantly deviate from the mean values of measured values, the

or the result of any other statistical calculation,

the scattering of the measurements.

5. In order to avoid zbytečnémuzkoušení are evaluated

as vehicles which have measured values

significantly exceed the limit values after less than three cycles

free acceleration cycles or after the purging. With a view to

avoid unnecessary testing are evaluated as compliant

vehicles which have measured values are significantly smaller than the

the limit values after less than three free acceleration cycles

or after the purging cycles, taking into account relevant

tolerances.

Or dálkověovládaným device measurements

and certified to the standard testing methods.

8.2.2.2.1 for vehicles registered or put into service for the first time after the date (B)

specified in the requirements, it exceeds the level specified by the manufacturer, the opacity of the
