scientific or health reasons cannot be elevated platform used
must be a closed space for rabbits about 33% larger for one rabbit
and about 60% larger for two rabbits. If the raised platform used for
rabbits under ten weeks, its dimensions must be at least 55 cm to 25

Space for each of the dogs placed in pairs or in a group may be in
the course of applied experiments limited to half of the total reserved
space (2 m2 for a dog under 20 kg, 4 m² for a dog over 20 kg), as provided for in the law
or this Ordinance, if this is important for the scientific Department of the animal
purposes. Period during which the space is limited in this way, the dog must not exceed 4
hours without a break.
A nursing female dog and the young must be assigned to the same space as the

compounds of nitrogen must be kept at lower levels.
The pH level must be adapted to the individual species of fish and maintained
If possible, stable. Salinity must be adapted to the requirements of the species
the fish and the stage of individuals. Changes of salinity must be carried out gradually.
11.3 Temperature, lighting, noise
The temperature must be maintained within the optimal range for the species of fish and
as far as possible on a stable value. Temperature changes must be carried out
gradually. The fish must be ensured by appropriate fotoperiodicita. The levels of
noise must be kept to a minimum and the equipment causing the noise or
vibration, such as electrical generators or filter systems must
be where appropriate, separated from the tanks in which are kept
the fish.
11.4. Stocking density and diversity of the environment
The stocking density of the fish must be based on the overall needs of the fish when it comes to
environmental conditions, health status and well-being. Must be
ensure a sufficient volume of water to keep the fish could swim in the normal way,
taking into account the size, age, State of health, and how

shelters must be provided, and substrate on the bottom, except for cases where the of the
their behaviour patterns shows that do not.
11.5. Feeding and handling
The fish must be fed a diet that is suitable for them, in the appropriate
quantities and intervals. Special attention should be paid to the feeding
FRY during each transition from natural food on plastic. Handling
with the fish must be kept to a minimum.

benefits or otherwise lethal dose, but during the reconstitution of the immune
the system. The expected adverse effects should be mild or moderate and

surgical procedures,
(h)), thus lasting up to 5 days, the use of metabolic cages
with moderate restriction of movement of the test animal,
I) study using a modified food which does not meet all the nutritional
the needs of the test animal, which, it is expected that in the course of the study
causes the animal to protect moderate clinical abnormalities,
