GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 16 December 2002. August 2006
on the determination of geodetic reference systems and the national map works
binding on the territory of the State and the principles of their use

The Government directs pursuant to § 17 para. 2 of Act No. 200/1994 Coll., on
surveying and amending and supplementing certain laws related to its
the introduction, as amended by law No 319/2004 Coll.:
§ 1
Introductory provisions
This regulation has been notified in accordance with the directive of the European Parliament
and Directive 98/34/EC of 22 December 2004. June 1998 on the procedure for the provision of information
in the field of technical standards and regulations and of rules on information
the company, as amended by Directive 98/48/EC.
§ 2
Geodetic reference systems
(1) the Geodetickými reference systems mandatory on the territory of the State (

§ 3
State map works
(1) State map parts mandatory in the territory of the State are
and) cadastral map ^ 1)
(b) State map in scale) 1:5 000,
c) base map of the Czech Republic in the scales 1:10000, 1:25, 000, 1
: 50, 000, 1:100 000 or 1:200, 000,
d) map of Czech Republic in the scale 1:500 000,
e) topographic map at the scales 1:25 000, 1:50,000 and 1:100 000,
f) Military map of the Czech Republic in scales of 1:250, 000, 1:500 000 and
1:1 000 000.
(2) the thematic national map parts mandatory in the territory of the State are
thematic mapping works created for the whole territory of the State on the basis of
the basic State map works listed
and in paragraph 1 (a)). (c)), and (d)), or
(b) in paragraph 1 (a)). e) and (f)).
(3) State map works referred to in paragraph 1 (b). and) appear in
binding the entire system according to § 2 (2). 1 (b). c) to (e)).
(4) State map works referred to in paragraph 1 (b). b) to (d)) and paragraph
2 (a). and) appear in binding the entire system according to § 2 (2).

paragraph. 1 (b). and (b).) (b)).
(5) State map works referred to in paragraph 1 (b). e) and (f)) and paragraph
2 (a). (b)) appear in binding the entire system according to § 2 (2).

§ 4
Guidelines for using geodetic reference systems and State map
works
(1) Binding geodetic systems according to § 2 (2). 1 (b). a) to (g))
used throughout the national territory for the survey activity in the public
the interest ^ 2) and for the results of the survey of activities used in the public

only for tonnage measurement, maintenance and management of the documentary works of State

§ 5
Transitional provisions
(1) Binding geodetic systems according to § 2 (2). 1 (b). (d)) and e) can be

§ 6
Regulation (EEC)
Government Regulation No. 116/1995 Coll., laying down a geodetic reference
