THE MARKETING OF FOREST REPRODUCTIVE MATERIAL, INTENDED FOR THE RENEWAL OF THE FOREST
AND FOR REFORESTATION, INTO CIRCULATION
TITLE I OF THE
INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS
§ 1
The subject of the edit
This law incorporates the relevant provision of the European Union) and the ^ 1a

§ 2
Definition of terms

(b)) identified reproductive material material obtained
from the source of the seeds or crops recognised pursuant to section 13,
(c)) and the reproductive material of the reproductive material derived from
cultivation of a recognised under section 14,
(d) reproductive material) by a qualified reproductive material derived
of orchards, parents of families, ortetu, clone or clonal mixture
recognized under section 15,
e) tested reproductive material of forest reproductive material,

TITLE II
PROTECTION AND REPRODUCTION OF FOREST TREE SPECIES GENE POOL
§ 2a
The national programme

Section 2b
The principles of protection and reproduction of forest tree genetic resources

program

§ 2 g

Provision of samples of genetic resources of forest tree species
(1) the designated officer or designated person, if necessary, are entitled to
a written request of a participant of the national programme to provide a sample or
allow the sampling of genetic resources of forest tree species, including
identifying information about the genetic resource; the application must include
information about the purpose of the provision of the sample. Participant of the national program is required to

Financing the protection and reproduction of forest tree species gene pool
(1) the financial resources for the collection, evaluation, documentation,
protection and reproduction of forest tree genetic resources within the

TITLE III
THE MARKETING OF FOREST REPRODUCTIVE MATERIAL INTO CIRCULATION
§ 3
Basic provisions

(4) genetically modified forest reproductive material can be put into circulation
only as tested. The provisions of the special legal regulation by

(5) the reproductive material of non-native species of poplar, their mutual
hybrids and hybrids of non-native species of poplar with domestic species, which was
produced on the territory of the Czech Republic, can be put into circulation on the territory of the

§ 4
The requirements on the quality of forest reproductive material
Reproductive material may be marketed only if the requirements of

§ 5
Sections of the reproductive material
(1) forest reproductive material can be put into circulation only in sections.

Section 5a
Collection of basic material
(1) the supplier is obliged to notify the person responsible for at least 15 days in advance

last name, date of birth, business name or the name, address

permanent residence, with legal entities, business name or the name and address of the
registered office,
b) supplier ID number, if assigned,
c) license number (section 22) and the registration number of the supplier,
(d)) the place and the time interval of time likely to collect of seeds
material, taking parts of plants and planting stock of the collection
natural regeneration in one growing season; the exact date shall notify the
supplier representative at least 2 business days in advance,
(e) the maximum quantity of collected) the planned seed,

(3) in the case of collecting seeds, parts of plants or subscription

§ 6
Certificate of origin
(1) in the case of an identified, selected, qualified or tested

Importing reproductive material on the basis of the decision of the Council of the European Union
on the equivalence of forest reproductive material produced
in third countries

§ 34

§ 37
The exceptions from the scope of the law
(1) the provisions of this Act do not apply to
a) planting stock or parts of plants, which are not intended for reconstruction
forest and afforestation,
(b) reproductive material intended for) research, experimental and breeding
purposes,
(c)), reproductive material which is intended for export and re-export to
States which are not members of the European Union.
(2) Reproductive material intended for research, experimental or
breeding purposes must not be used for other purposes nor be put into
circulation.

are not members of the European Union, must not be put into circulation on the territory of the United
Republic if it does not meet the conditions laid down in this law.

the corresponding altitude. In the case of Norway spruce, Scots pine
