Amending Government Regulation no. 272/2011 Coll., On health protection against
adverse effects of noise and vibration

Government directs pursuant to § 108 Sec. 3 of the Act no. 258/2000 Coll., On protection
public health and amending certain related laws, as amended
Act no. 274/2003 Coll., Act. 392/2005 Coll. and Act no. 267/2015 Coll
. (hereinafter the "Act") to implement § 30 paragraph. 3, § 34 para. 1 and § 77 paragraph
. 5 of the Act, and pursuant to § 21 letter. a) Act no. 309/2006 Coll., which
amend other requirements of occupational safety and health in
labor relations and ensuring safety and health at
activities or providing service outside labor relations (Act
on securing other conditions for safety and health at work)
amended by Act no. 362/2007 Coll. and Act no. 189/2008 Coll., to implement §
paragraph 7. 7 of the Act on securing other conditions for safety and health at work
:
Article I


Decree no. 272/2011 Coll., On health protection against adverse
effects of noise and vibration, as follows:

First In § 1, paragraph 2, including footnote no. 2 is deleted as well
repealing designation of Subsection 1

Second § 2, including the heading and footnote no. 4 reads:

"§ 2 Basic concepts



For the purposes of this Regulation

a) determining indicator of the physical quantity that characterizes the noise
infrasound, ultrasound or vibration and is used to evaluate the adverse effects
noise, infrasound, ultrasound and vibration conservation
public health

b) noise, tonal noise in the frequency spectrum is
level sound pressure-third octave band, or even in two
immediately adjacent octave bands, by more than 5 dB higher than
sound pressure levels in both neighboring
octave bands and in the frequency band from 10 Hz to 160 Hz is equivalent
sound pressure level in the third octave band higher than the level
hearing threshold set for this frequency band in the Annex no. 1 to
thereto; tonal noise is always music or singing; if not
noise tonal identified on the basis of that
definition, you can use a definition based on narrowband analysis

C) impulse noise of high-energy acoustic pulses formed
outdoors, the source of the explosions in quarries and mines
sonic booms, demolition and industrial processes using explosives
shooting from heavy weapons, testing explosives, other sources of explosions

no. 4 hereto,

D) high impulse noise of sound pulses formed in outdoor

L) the reference period for the average exposure to vibrations weekly, monthly
longer period within the meaning specified standards according to ISO 5349-1
which measures and evaluates exposure to hand-transmitted vibration,


M) typical flying day average operating conditions at the airport
derived for the assessment of long-term exposure to noise, which is determined as the average 24-hour
number of takeoffs and landings at the airport,
calculated from the total number of takeoffs and landing of aircraft at the airport
from 1 May to 31 October of the calendar year; while separating
number of moves for a period of time of day and night,

N) old noise nuisance noise in protected outdoor space and
protected outdoor areas of buildings on land transport activity
roads or runways that existed prior to January 1, 2001 and
value exceeded limits set for hygiene

Third in § 3, section 5 reads:
|| | "(5) in determining the average noise exposure in the workplace during the reporting period
is based on the total number of shifts in the period and the number of shifts,
during which an employee is exposed to noise.."

4 . in § 3 the following paragraphs 6-9 are added:

"(6) the procedure under paragraph 5 shall also apply in the case of regular or irregular shifts
with different duration of 8 hours, while | || varying hours during the reporting period, but each day
noise exposure should first be converted to work for 8 hours.

(7) Average weekly noise exposure LAeq, w is calculated as follows:

Where n is the number of shifts during the weekly working time during which an employee is exposed to noise

(8) Average monthly exposure to noise LAeq, to ​​be calculated as follows:

Where n is the number of shifts during the monthly working hours, during which the employee is exposed to noise

(9) According to the relationship referred to in paragraph 8 shall proceed accordingly when
calculating the average worker exposure to noise during the reporting period
longer than one month. ".

Fifth in § 8 paragraph 5 renumbered 2.

owner of the road or track. Hygienic limit established for

20. In § 20 paragraph. 2, the word "must" is replaced by "must".

When evaluating noise and vibration in the workplace and vibration in protected indoor building

For other types of protected interior space in the table, namely
specified values ​​are used for functionally similar spaces.

Purpose of building use is permitted in buildings before January 1, 2007

Specified hygienic limits do not apply to noise caused by the use of a protected room.

+) For the noise of traffic in the vicinity of highways, roads I and II. class roads and local roads
I and II. class where the noise from the traffic on the roads

This correction does not apply in relation to the protected inner space
constructions permitted for use for its intended purpose after 31 December
