DECREE



of 17 May. may 2016,



amending Decree No. 342/2012 Coll., on animal health and its

protection, about the movement and transport of and permissions, and professional competence

for the performance of certain professional veterinary activities, as amended by

The Ministry of agriculture lays down, pursuant to section 78 of the Act No. 166/1999 Coll.

veterinary care and amending certain related laws (health

Act), as amended by Act No. 131/2003 Coll., Act No. 316/2004 Coll., Act

No. 48/2006 Coll., Act No. 182/2008 Coll., Act No. 227/2009 Coll., Act

No. 308/2011 Coll., Act No. 359/2012 Coll., Act No. 279/2013 Coll., Act

No. 264/2014 Coll., Act No. 139/2014 Coll. and Act No. 126/2016 Coll., to

implement section 59 paragraph 1. 6 the veterinary Act:



Article. (I)



Decree No. 342/2012 Coll., on animal health and its protection, on

the movement and transport of and permissions, and professional competence to perform

some professional veterinary activities, as amended by Decree No.

429/2013 Coll. and Decree No. 313/2014 Coll., is amended as follows:



1. In paragraph 1 (b). k), the words "and fields of study, from which must be

obtained adequate knowledge and skills referred to in § 59 paragraph 1. 1 of the law "

are replaced by the words "the knowledge and skills that are prerequisite to

a diploma, certificate or other evidence of the required education

in veterinary medicine and hygiene ".



2. In section 20 (2). 1 the words "food hygiene and laboratory Diagnostics

in food hygiene "are replaced by the words" veterinary hygiene and laboratory

diagnosis in veterinary hygiene ".



3. In article 20 (2). 2 the words "food hygiene" is replaced by

"the animal health hygiene".



4. in section 26 para. 1 the word "Ordinance" shall be replaced by "Decree ^ 13)".



Footnote 13 reads as follows:



"13) in annex V, part 4, paragraph 5.4.2. directive of the European Parliament and of the Council

2005/36/EC of 6 May 1999. July 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications.



Annex part in (a). n) Council Directive 2006/100/EC of 20 May 1999. November

5. in section 26 paragraph 2, including footnote No 14:

school certificates or other evidence of the required education in the veterinary

medicine and hygiene, are listed in annex 4 to this Decree ^ 14).

Degree programme leading to obtaining the diploma or another

Group 2: Clinical Sciences



and) obstetrics,



(b)), including pathological anatomy, pathology

(d)), clinical medicine and surgery, including anesthesia,



e) clinical lectures on the various domestic animals, poultry and other

animal species



f) preventive medicine,



g) radiology, reproduction and reproductive disorders,



h) hygiene provisions,



I) veterinary legislation and forensic medicine,



j) Therapeutics,



k) introduction.



Group 3: animal production



and) livestock production,



(b)), animal nutrition,

Group 4: food hygiene



a) inspection and control of foodstuffs of animal origin,

(c) the practical training involving practical) instruction at locations where

the slaughter of animals and food production.



Practical training may take the form of an external practical training block, if

is such a teaching day, takes place under the supervision of a University with

Veterinary degree and lasts throughout the study

together for more than 6 months.



The Division of theoretical and practical training among the different groups of

subjects is balanced and coordinated so that the required knowledge and

experience could be acquired in a manner that reasonably allows

veterinarians perform all their duties.



Part (B)



THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS THAT ARE PREREQUISITE FOR THE DIPLOMA,

SCHOOL CERTIFICATES OR OTHER EVIDENCE OF THE REQUIRED EDUCATION IN THE VETERINARY

MEDICINE AND HYGIENE



and) adequate knowledge of the sciences on which the activities of the veterinary

doctor, and knowledge of Union law applicable to those

activities,



(b)) adequate knowledge of the anatomy, Physiology, behavior and physiological

the needs of the animals, as well as on general skills and competences for their

breeding, feeding, good living conditions, the reproduction and hygiene



c) adequate clinical, epidemiological and analytical skills and

capabilities for the prevention, diagnosis, and diseases of animals and

as a group, including anesthesia, aseptic surgery and painless death,

including special knowledge about diseases transmissible to man,



d) adequate knowledge, skills and abilities for preventive

medicine, including skills in the area of investigations and certifications



e) adequate knowledge of the hygiene and technology acquisition, production and

the putting into circulation of animal feedingstuffs or foodstuffs of animal origin

intended for human consumption, including the skills and competencies needed

for understanding and explanation of best practice in this respect,



f) knowledge, skills and abilities required for the responsible and reasonable

the use of veterinary medicinal products for the treatment of animals and ensure safety

the food chain and the environment.
