The COMMUNICATION FROM the



Ministry of Foreign Affairs



Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the exchange of notes dated May 8.

December 1997 in Singapore was negotiated agreement between the Government of the Czech

the Republic and the Government of the Republic of Singapore on the abolition of visa requirements.



Agreement entered into force on 8 July 2006. January 1, 1998.



The Czech text of the Czech translation of the note verbale and Singapore shall be published

at the same time.

Embassy of the Czech Republic reflected respect for the Ministry of foreign

Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, and has the honour to propose the conclusion of the agreement between the

the Government of the United Kingdom and the Government of the Republic of Singapore on the abolition of visa

duties, worded as follows:



Article 1



1. the citizens of the Czech Republic and the Republic of Singapore citizens who are

holding a valid diplomatic, official, official or travel

passports, can enter the territory of the other contracting party without visas and

stay there for no longer than thirty (30) days from the date of entry.



2. the citizens of the State of one Contracting Party who arrive on the territory of the State

the other Contracting Party for the purpose of gainful employment or studies or there

they intend to stay longer than thirty (30) days, you must have a visa to this country.



Article 2



Citizens of the Czech Republic and the Republic of Singapore citizens, holders of a

valid diplomatic, official duty or official passports who are

the other Contracting Party through the diplomatic channel and shall take effect on the date of

receipt of such notification.



Article 10



1. the Contracting Parties shall exchange through diplomatic channels to the patterns of valid

travel documents no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of the exchange of

diplomatic notes, which negotiates the agreement.



2. each Contracting Party shall send in the case of amendments or introduction of

new types of travel documents of their designs, along with

the applicability of these documents to the other party through diplomatic channels

no later than thirty (30) days prior to their introduction.
