The DECREE
of 29 April 2004. June 2012,
amending Decree No 48/2005 Coll., on basic education and
some aspects of the implementation of the compulsory education, as amended by
Decree No 454/2006 Sb.
The Ministry of education, youth and sports, determined in accordance with section 19, section 20
paragraph. 8, § 23 paragraph. 3, § 26 paragraph. 4, § 27, paragraph. 6, section 31, paragraph. 1, § 38
paragraph. 7 and section 56 of Act No. 561/2004 Coll. on pre-school, primary,
secondary, higher vocational and other education (the Education Act), as amended by
Law No 49/2009 Coll. and Act No. 472/2011 Coll.:
Article. (I)
Decree No. 48/2005 Coll., on basic education and some
aspects of the implementation of the compulsory education, as amended by Decree No.
454/2006 Coll., is hereby amended as follows:
1. In article 1 (1). 2 the words "the building" shall be replaced by the words "and stay in the

2. In article 1, paragraph 3 is added:

12. In section 10, paragraph 1, including the footnote No. 10:

13. In section 10, paragraph 3:

14. In section 10, paragraph 1. 4, the first sentence shall be deleted.
15. In section 11 (1). 3, the second sentence shall be deleted.
16. In article 12, paragraphs 1 to 3 shall be deleted.
Paragraphs 4 and 5 shall be renumbered 1 and 2.
17. In section 12 (1):
"(1) the length and form of the rate for basic education (hereinafter referred to as
"of course") ^ 11) shall designate the Director of the school, but not in the length of one school
of the year. The courses will begin for the beginning of the first or second half of the year. ".
18. In section 12, paragraph. 2, the words "referred to in paragraph 1" shall be deleted.
19. In section 13 (3). 4, the words "the daily or the remote form of education"
shall be deleted.
20. In section 13 paragraph 5 is added:
"(5) a pupil who has been on the course for the examination at the end of the course, rated from the
one or more of the subjects of the degree of benefit 5-insufficient or

21. section 14 reads:

(1) a pupil who satisfies the compulsory school attendance in school outside of the territory of the Czech
Republic, may, on the request of the legal representative of the pupil held in
period of at least one half of the school year, not exceeding the period

27. under section 18 the following new section 18a to 18 d are inserted:
"§ 18a
(1) a pupil who satisfies the compulsory education in the form of individual teaching
abroad, may at the request of the legal representative of the student held for
period of at least one half of the school year, not exceeding the period
two school years, the test examiner school. The test takes place from
each of the compulsory subject taught in the respective years of school
examiner school educational program, with the exception of articles

32. section 21 is repealed.
33. In article 24, paragraph 2, the following new paragraph 3, including the
footnote No 22:

Article. (II)
