the agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between the Czechoslovak

Socialist Republic and the Republic of Niger and the agreement on the cultural

cooperation between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Republic of

Niger



On 11 July. September 1963 in Brno was signed the agreement on scientific and technical

cooperation between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Republic of

Niger 13 December. September 1963 in Prague was signed the agreement on cultural

cooperation between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Republic of

Niger.



The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic approved the said agreement

20 December. November 1963.



The agreement on scientific and technical cooperation under the provisions of article 9 (2).

1 came into force on 11 July. September 1963 and the agreement on cultural cooperation

in accordance with the provisions of article 9, entered into force on 13. September 1963.

on scientific and technical cooperation between the Czechoslovak Socialist

Republic and the Republic of Niger



The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of Niger



Desiring to deepen the friendly relations and promote economic ties

between the two countries, and aiming for the purpose of development of mutual scientific and

technical cooperation



have agreed as follows:



Article 1



The Contracting Parties undertake to cooperate in the field of science and technology to

mutual benefit and for the most efficient use of the latest

knowledge of science and technology for the economic development of the two countries on the basis of the

the principles of respect for sovereignty, non-interference and equality.



Article 2



The cooperation referred to in article 1 of this agreement will lie in the scientific and

technical assistance, which the two Contracting Parties shall be mutually

and the arts and to contribute to the deepening and development of the friendly relations between the

Article 1



The Contracting Parties shall, on the basis of mutual friendship and understanding, and

obeying the principles of sovereignty, non-interference and equality, to promote

cultural relations between the two countries and contribute to the mutual cognition

cultural values of the peoples of the two countries and the progress achieved in the field of

culture, education, science and the arts.



Article 2



The Contracting Parties shall promote the marketing of music and cinematographic works,

the organisation of lectures, artistic, cultural, and scientific exhibitions and

the issue of translation of important works of scientific and artistic literature of the second

State.



Article 3



The Contracting Parties shall encourage the development of cooperation and exchange of experience

among the scientific, cultural, educational and health care, as well as

social and cooperative organizations and institutions of both States. For

the purpose will be to facilitate the reciprocal secondment of teaching staff

and other experts from the field of culture.



Article 4



Each of the parties will support the teaching of the history and geography of the second

countries and the dissemination of knowledge of the other country in their schools and awareness-raising

devices. Each of the Contracting Parties shall ensure that textbooks did not contain

incorrect information about the other country.



Article 5



The Contracting Parties will allow for the provision of scholarships and other benefits

nationals of the other State the study at universities and colleges

providing vocational education. To recognise diplomas issued by the

Article 6

Article 7



The Contracting Parties shall facilitate the exchange of books, scientific,

cultural and artistic works and publications, films and music.

They will also promote the mutual disclosure of articles on cultural life

Article 8



For the implementation of this agreement, the parties will negotiate the always on certain

Article 9
